Teasdale to PSU!

So what possible reason would RBY decommit in light of this? There's room for him in the lineup.

Awesome pickup. 2018 class is unreal. Add Seth in and it's another monster

I don't think so, but you never know. Both are expect to grow some so the coaches will figure it out.

I shudder to think of the reaction from our friends at HR if Big Snacks signs up :)

He just followed Tom Brands on Twitter

I have to imagine he's talked to the coaching staff about Teasdale coming on board. It seems like there can be room for both. The reality is that if you're good enough to start you'll start. Wrestling is a sport where you get exactly what you earn.

Maybe he's been gone for awhile and Cael put the FULL COURT PRESS on Teasdale.

And yes, FCP = negative recruiting. Obviously.

The next time everyone tries to tell us what a great guy and poster Chief is just remember how passive aggressive he is. Here he is taking shot at PSU from the comfort of HR, in a thread he created.

He's a clown.

Eh, after everything he's been through, give the dude some slack. If you got eye gauged on Saturday night and kicked in the 'nads on Tuesday, how do you think you'd react?

A 16-year-old kid making a rash decision and not realizing that they could both be in the lineup and at comfortable weights? I, AM, SHOCKED.

I've been on this for a minute. He comes over & says a few nice things, argues of course, then runs back to HR and bashes big time. Although I will say, he does defend PSU from time to time on HR. That said, dude straight up plays both sides of the fence...all day. I called him on it briefly and left it alone after that.

You would hope RBY would give it some time before jumping to a conclusion but you just can't control how people are going to react to change sometimes. Unfortunately, it would not be surprising if RBY walked. My twins that are juniors in HS can't make up their minds either what to do next year. As a fan you have to know that with this line-up of talented wrestlers and recruits you won't keep everyone happy. Seems decommits happen a lot in football so why should wrestling be any different? Have to have faith in Cael and the coaches that they will have a plan for all of them but things always change too. Maybe, we don't see how it all works out right now for every recruit/wrestler at every weight class and that's just the way they want it to help avoid these situations.

RBY's wrestling style would benefit tremendously training in the PSU room.
As far as room. We had 2 Altons, 1 Sherock and not enough room for a local kid named Port. If at all possible, always assume there is room.

We just crushed nationals, had 5 champs, gained an undefeated 3x PA state champ, and care about an Iowa fan's posts on HR?

Winning so much we're tired of it.

I'd have to think one has the possibility of being a little cheaper against the cap.

That was one of my first thoughts as well. If so, might allow more flexibility. We've been told PSU is recruiting Hoffman, and you gotta figure PSU wants a heavyweight (Seth Nevills?) in the 2018 class, as Nick Nevills' last year will be 2018/19. This is all speculation, of course.

The three days of coverage on ESPN were three days of free recruiting for PSU. All of the conspiracy theories on HR are laughable. Not only did PSU go 5 for 5 Saturday night, but they had some of the biggest names in wrestling talking about how and why PSU is so good right now. It was basically a recruiting video. Does anyone really believe Cael needs to negatively recruit as some are suggesting? I think JB needs to worry more about regaining his spot as the best wrestler in the world than spewing his innuendos on Twitter. As others have mentioned Teasdale is friends with many of the PSU wrestlers. He was obviously torn for some time and apparently TNT knew it. I don't like when kids decommit, but you can't blame him if his heart isn't in Iowa.
