Does anyone really believe Cael needs to negatively recruit as some are suggesting?

Don't believe it for a second. 1) That's not Cael's style and 2) the recent NCAA tournament was definitely the biggest recruiting tool / video so no need to be negative anyway.

I would think if there'a any negative recruiting, it's whomever gets in RBY's ear to get him away from psu. Or it may be a situation similar to how Haines and Marstellar moved on. We'll never know. It'll all work out in the end.

The three days of coverage on ESPN were three days of free recruiting for PSU. All of the conspiracy theories on HR are laughable. Not only did PSU go 5 for 5 Saturday night, but they had some of the biggest names in wrestling talking about how and why PSU is so good right now. It was basically a recruiting video. Does anyone really believe Cael needs to negatively recruit as some are suggesting? I think JB needs to worry more about regaining his spot as the best wrestler in the world than spewing his innuendos on Twitter. As others have mentioned Teasdale is friends with many of the PSU wrestlers. He was obviously torn for some time and apparently TNT knew it. I don't like when kids decommit, but you can't blame him if his heart isn't in Iowa.

Only need to dig up Spencer Lee's commitment letter, in which he profusely thanked both Iowa and PSU coaches, then blasted at length a 3rd unnamed team for negative recruiting and questioned why that practice exists..

Unless starting is more important which I couldn't blame them. Look at Law just finished 3rd I think at Pitt Johnston and would have never started at PSU.

You need lighten up sometimes and have fun. The idea that somebody can have a "message board comeback" is a joke. There is a lot of joking around on here and I think almost all of it goes over your head. You're a solid poster here on the wrestling board with a lot of knowledge, but you seem to miss the fun we have here.

RBY is gone. I don't see how they can possibly make the scholarship money work for all of those guys and maybe he doesn't feel the love anymore. I agree that Minny, ASU are possible destinations. Also wouldn't rule out Iowa now that Teasdale has left an opening.
