I hate to interrupt the regularly scheduled Suriano talk but the brackets are supposed to come out at 6ET. Apparently they are starting by announcing the top seeds. They just announced on twitter that Cruz is #1 at 125.

As for top 2, only 141, 157, and 197 should be interesting. Well, I guess 174, but I don't think order of 1/2 matters much.

Nato #2. I know we have a lot of Cruz fans here, but I'm glad Nato will draw Suriano/Lee instead

133: Gross at #1 and Micic at #2. No surprises. 141 should be more interesting.

Surprised Eiermam got #2. Meredith at #1 was a shoe-in.
Diakamohalis will likely be 3rd seed, which could set up an interesting potential semi with Eiermann who gave him his only loss so far this year.

Lavallee with the #2 seed. That could be good for Nolf if he gets #3 (which he deserves) He would avoid Kemmerer (who is quite dangerous) and Hidlay (who is still a relative unknown). Nolf dismantled Lavalle in the finals last year.

IMar at #1 and McFadden at #2. Got to believe Joseph is at #3

Anyone know what the exact NCAA weblink is for seeds in 24 minutes? I don't think it is twitter account at NCAA wrestling, is it?

Just hoping Kollin ends up on the opposite side of Shakur at this point. The early seeds don't look ideal for us.

Nato #2. I know we have a lot of Cruz fans here, but I'm glad Nato will draw Suriano/Lee instead
I said in another thread that the prize here was whoever drew opposite Cruz because all three guys probably can handle him. NaTo would've been better off at 4.

Lavallee has wrestled one top ten guy...which he lost (Hidlay). His toughest opponent other than that is Archie Colgan.

Where are you getting the seedlings? I only see the top 2 seeds. How do you know Nolf is the 3 and AP is the 6?

And Snyder is at #1 (despite a very limited schedule, as usual). Did Ohio State just bribe the committee?

It looks like the committee is punishing guys for MFFs. I agree that they should, but if they are not, then I have no explanation for what they are doing. The formula as it stands cannot be spitting out these results.

I really hope Rasheed can get the 6 over Weigel. Probably doesn't deserve it, but Im hoping.

No one knows for sure yet; some folks are just projecting. However, some of the projections could be quite likely to occur.

Nolf with #3 and Kemmerer with #6 sets up a quarterfinal between them. Looks like they really punished medical forfeits.
