There is nowhere else to go. No school will admit him at this point, especially if Angelo stays at Iowa. It’s Iowa or WWE/MMA for him, that’s it.
Shocking to me that he can get a NIL deal worth anything out of Iowa. He should be paying Iowa to wrestle there- his “brand” is such that many people don’t want him around their program.

It’s actually sad that this is where Iowa wrestling has ended up at.

why would any team offer him anything he still showing what a loser and jerk he is!give him nothing!
I agree this video gives a lot of misinformation in my mind. The double fingers not having an impact on a wrestling team taking him is bullshit no other team would take him other than Iowa lol.

I cannot imagine there’s that many teams that are willing to bring him in besides Iowa, maybe Rutgers?
And Rutger would have to kick Poznanski to the curb.

Roster-wise, of the schools that were finalists for any of the 3 brothers, the Goofers make the most sense. 197 Gavin Nelson is having a rough shirt year, they need a 174 to replace Sparks in 2026, and their 149s aren't world beaters. But would Eggum be that desperate?

After that, maybe VT, because they were a finalist for Angelo. Sasso is having a good shirt year, but not enough to block AJ (talent-wise), and Stewart was not great last year. Fredo would sit forever behind Henson. Would Robie take in the circus?

The other schools all either have a very good 197 and/or 174 on board with multiple years left, and/or will have zero interest in the circus.

Not going to happen, Iowa along with the rest are basically now second tier. It's going to take a lot to challenge PSU more than once or twice in a decade with what Sanderson has built. It's goes far beyond the NCAA torunament.
Sanderson, after 15 yrs, has built a world capital for wrestling. All others are simply state capitals.

Anyone else hoping that if AJ comes to Iowa, that ESPN would interview Gable at Nationals and ask him if would have ever taken AJ?

"I wish he'd stop calling me" -Anonymous College Coach 😂
That is the quote that most stuck out to me. If AJ was indeed getting multiple contacts.....why would he keep calling a certain coach? Kinda smells........like a couple of week-old rotting birds.

Does a school taking AJ lose more value in future recruits that don't want to be on a team with him than they would gain from having him on their roster?

This is a serious consideration. Iowa has lost Chittum due to the circus already. Any team that regularly gets top 10 recruits probably won’t want to take the chance.

Without a doubt for most parents and wrestlers. Which is why I think if Iowa doesn't take him.......no competetive DI school will take him.
