Guys, Jay Wright has other obligations @ this time that I am aware of. Don't believe he is interested in a coaching commitment.
Well he is someone that would likely stay long term if he is successful and not a situation where we lose a coach every time they make the NCAA tournament.
It’s time that they poach a head coach from a big program instead of hiring a head coach from a Patriot League school or an assistant. When the Vols needed a head coach, they got Barnes. When Auburn needed a head coach, they got Pearl. If PSU doesn’t do this, then just fold the program.
Hey, let’s just bring Coach K out of retirement..obviously it’s that easy…just pick out the coach you want and he magically comes here. And if he doesn’t, it’s the AD’s failure.Rick Pitino. The ink’s not even dry on his St John’s contract. I’m sure he can get out of it.

Not true, many coaches at mid major schools have been offered a lot more money to stay when a bigger program comes calling, yet they still leave.

Pearl was fired from Tennessee and unemployed when hired by Auburn.
Realistically, no head coach at a “big program” would leave a stable situation. If we’re getting someone like that, then they are on the hot seat.

Good to hear. Now that I think about it, the fact that you went straight to K instead of Jim Boeheim first should have given it away.
Yeah, the Pearl hire was controversial when it happened. Most have forgotten about it over time.
If we're going down that road, then damn Micah screw us again. If he had only lost to Texas A&M, we could've gotten Chris Beard.
