Ut Oh….

While everybody is distracted by the squirrel, we missed some real news from the Luther Open: Iowa true FR 125 Jesse Ybarra wrestled attached.

Makes sense to have him go this season as a Plan B for Lee’s knees. Under that scenario, you want him filling in during Lee’s breaks and getting battle-tested during the B1G schedule. If you know that’s the plan, might as well go attached out of the gate. We know Lee doesn’t really need much work leading up to March, just health.

I'm not sure it makes sense to me if they are pulling his shirt just to play spot duty for Spencer. Cant remember, wasnt Ybarra a high end recruit? Maybe he doesnt care about starting for 4 years but if I'm a top recruit, I'll be damned if I'd give up a year of eligibility to fill in for someone. I'd hit the portal asap...

I was in that gym almost all day. I was NOT in there for the ADS/CS match, as I was trying to corner in the Fieldhouse or probably taking one of one thousand pisses. I walked back in right after and I didn’t even know it happened until we were driving home, long after.

probably not getting the sportsmanship award, but watching this tale get taller and taller is rather comical. Sounds like it’s either handled, or they’ll deal with it.

First, it was there was no proof that any of these accounts was an eyewitness accounting. Now, shown video proof that the mat announcer on the adjoining mat, directly opposite the mat AD v CS was on and who was not only an eyewitness to the event, but commentated on what he was seeing.... is now full of shit and exaggerating because he's out to Iowa and AD (as if this outburst is anything different than AD has done repeatedly since he's been at Iowa including his outburst at NCAA's this past March (this time the media was the target of his ire). What the mat commentator says is very unambiguous and he doesn't describe the harmless interaction you're trying to sell.
*Seriously.......I ran this "sentence" through a translator and it said "Language Not Recognized"
*Oh........do you understand the difference between Video Proof and an audio of somebody speaking?? I didn't think so.
*I guess if someone videoed themselves saying they saw you grabbing a lady by the neck and stealing her purse.....that is video proof. If it is......there should be a knock on your door any minute.....remember....there is Video Proof......just plead guilty :)

See comment above mine re: Ayala.

Also, who knows? Maybe Ybarra feels like there is a reasonable chance something could go awry with Lee. Though, if that happened, maybe they’d pull Ayala’s shirt anyway.

Nationals will be interesting if ADS manages to get there. Nothing for him to really lose if he goes off on someone considering it's his last year. I'm afraid Brands may need to behead Austin instead of just choke him to get him to stop. Lol

I think Ybarra just doesn’t want to double redshirt IMO. If they want a Plan B for Spencer for NCAAs, Ayala has a way higher ceiling IMO.

You really are moronic - you claimed there was no proof that any of the accounts were eyewitness accounts. Are you really trying to claim that this video does not capture the mat commentators on the red mat (mat directly opposite mat AD v CS took place on) commenting on what they are eyewitnessing? Seriously? What any of this has to do with your absurd example is well beyond me.

If Ayala wants to keep his shirt on until it’s a sure thing, I think Cashman would be the other option. So, yes, I would assume not wanting to sit again this year factors into Ybarra’s decision. Pulling Ayala’s shirt if needed could be the ‘real’ Plan B, in which case we could just call Ybarra/Lee combo Plan A. ‘C’ is for Cashman. 😉

Hey guys get a room. Nobody else cares who out of you two said what when. It’s bad radio. :)

John Travolta’s kid was clear as day on the spectrum, but the family were scientologists who deny autism is even a thing. Anyway, the kid had a seizure in the bath and died because the Travolta’s denied the efficacy of seizure meds along with the autism.
Since I've some expertise (but not as a former member) I'll just peel off the Scientology thing, which goes far beyond autism denial. Scientologists believe that any sickness or condition is something you're just not "at cause" over and can be fixed through "auditing," an expensive process that rids oneself of "engrams" (essentially trauma) with the help of a contraption that works similar to a lie detector. All medical conditions, but especially neurological and psychological conditions, are simply your own fault. This has resulted in a lot of needless suffering and death among Scientologists, especially the ones on staff, who tend to be more hardcore than the wealthier "publics." The irony being that they all tend to view themselves as highly-empowered super-beings and barely tolerate the "wogs" (non-Scientologists) here on earth.

Sorry to derail even further but I'm waiting for some backups to copy here and felt compelled.

Haha. Its funny making fun of some of you. BTW saw lots of reasonable and impressive posters here I’ll come back again when it’s not about Idioteo being a micropenio. LovePA!

Looks like this was discussed on HR. Other than questioning why they did it at the Luther Open, most don’t seem too concerned. Seems the consensus is with Ayala, this may Ybarra’s best chance to get some starts with Spencer likely wrestling a light schedule.

Short of Ybarra saying he has no interest in a 5 year program this move makes zero sense to me especially right out of the gate in an open?

Spencer punting this year for medical reasons or otherwise would be a massive development.

The two sharing time only benefits protecting a dual victory steak which few people really care about.

What an I missing?

I love your insight but give me more of this stuff.

Well I think your first sentence may be true, and overall my guess is it was ultimately Ybarra’s decision. But if he may end up behind Ayala too, this year could be his best chance to see significant varsity action. (But I agree doing it in an open was probably premature in case he suffered a season ending injury or something)

I don't have any knowledge about scientology and find it quite fascinating that folks have those beliefs. Thanks for sharing it Tikk.
Would it be wrong if we started referring to irrational posters as Wogs?😉 It seems fitting for some reason.

There are some people who don’t want to disclose, some who are in denial, etc., etc. John Travolta’s kid was clear as day on the spectrum, but the family were scientologists who deny autism is even a thing. Anyway, the kid had a seizure in the bath and died because the Travolta’s denied the efficacy of seizure meds along with the autism.

So maybe you’ll never see a link, but references to him being on the spectrum are all over the place - are they all BS? Maybe, as a lot of stuff on the inter webs is BS. I’ll tell you one thing - if I ever met him, I’d be able to tell in less than a minute if he was or not. 18 years of hard won experience leads me to feel pretty confident there as my autism spectrum radar is always functioning.

All that said, I’ll let it go. Autism should not be a scarlet letter - it is a neurological condition.

I've always appreciated you sharing your autism experience, CT. I have zero such experience myself, and have learned a lot from you over the years. Thank you.

For what it's worth: On today's FRL they spent about 3 minutes discussing the Desanto/Schriever match. The percentage of time they spent talking about post-match antics was ZERO......not a word.

Did they interview cheddarwurst or bluroptimo?

Something happend after the match??
You'll have to check previous posts but I think there was an attempted murder followed by another attempted murder....but it apparently wasn't serious enough to discuss on a Wrestling podcast. :)

Note: I have been told by a reliable poster on here that code words for attempted murder are "Stared at" and/or "Touched his Neck" :)

Hearing lots of things about that. In fact, different things are being said.

Update 1: Something that was heard was later said to me, and the way I heard it made me think someone might have said death threats were made to FRL staff before the show, or at least some things to that effect were heard and said to a buddy of mine who then said it to me in a way that I could hear.

Update 2: More things have been said, based on what I am hearing. Stay tuned.

This was a long read.

TLDR:
ADS points at parents and then runs into stands threatening to kill them, Brands submits ADS via rear naked choke (I'm assuming ADS tapped out again?)

Facebook posts appear and a fellow poster was at the event (I interpreted it that way also) with conflicting reports.

Iowa fan assures us that there is no way this took place.

Turns out fellow poster was not at the event. Pasted two Facebook posts and immediately cleared things up.

Sleuthing uncovers a video with some barely audible clips reinforcing that at least there was some type of confrontation.

Nope, again the Iowa fan assures us that if the parties were calm after the incident, then there was no incident.

Another Iowa fan is learning about how to use emojis.

Spencer is at risk of losing his 125 spot to a true freshman (Injury precaution)

Scientologists have a wacky belief system and think they are better than others (Not other religions though they are fine, just those wacky scientologists)

Iowa fan is back again, posting copyrighted material I'm guessing

New footage emerges which shows basically nothing. Desanto pointing and being an ass.

Irrational posters may now be known as wags (maybe mods could put yellow stars by their usernames just so we know who they are)

I learned a new word Micropenio

Somewhere in there was some Turkey talk. (Not WildTurk, I think he has dementia. He forgot most of this thread already)

Remember, this is the TLDR version
