WTT

What's with the turning your back to your opponent while the match is still live? When RBY gets banged up he kind of tunes out mentally, I've seen it before.

If your injured, you have 2 choices; go all out or medical out. The grey area in-between is going to get him hurt someday. He nearly got dumped on his neck.

Bummer of a match for sure, I hope he doesn't have something partially torn in there that is going to keep creeping back into matches.

Well he can heal up nicely with a redshirt once Gross comes over :)

All of this is incorrect

If so....the Flo got it wrong...their quote:
"But there's a curveball. Jacori Teemer has moved down. He was 3rd at the Open last year, 3rd at the Trials, and 5th in this year's Open - all at 70kg. If he makes the weight without any lingering effects, he's probably the odds-on favorite."

I'm torn between RBY taking a redshirt next year or wrestling the 1st 2 matches then sitting out the rest of the year and going for a medical redshirt in a few years

It might take gross a month of the season to get acclimated when he gets here

Teemer wrestled 70 at the Open. Registered for Trials at 65. obviously he wrestled 70

Thank You Willie. I knew I saw him wrestle B. Lee...….plus......who doesn't read FLO? You guys can write your apologies on the back of a Twenty and send it to Wrestling for Life :)

RBY has such talent, and he is so much fun to watch. Great re-attacks and perhaps the quickest wrestler I've ever seen on his feet. When he is on, he can beat just about anyone.

But when he falls behind or seems to suffer an injury, he can shut down and turn it off. Hope he didn't re-injure the leg today and is back on the mat soon making heads turn and jaws drop.

Zain gets Heil and then either Molinaro or Eierman
Nevills gets Steveson
Nolf goes through Murphy to get to A. Valencia and then Gantt (before IMAR)
Hall has Ben Harvey and should eventually end up against Zahid
Nico will get Clark or Ramos after Fausz
Josh Rodriquez gets Darian Cruz
Morelli vs. Finesilver

Bo sits and waits . . . for Godot

Very cerebral for the board, dmm. Very Frazier Crane of you.
Kudos.

What you said is still incorrect. Which was the point of the statements. He didn't wrestle 65kg after cutting 11 lbs which lead to his low gas tank, as you stated.

They did wrestle at US open at 70 kg. Which is the weight they both just wrestled today at WTT.

False. He was always a 174 recruit, maybe 184 in time -- "the senior out of Oregon projects as a 174/184 on the next level."

There's a very obvious reason Wittlake is cutting to 165: he wants to wrestle this year, and Joe Smith failed at that same weight in March.
John Smith’s views on weight-cutting remind me of those football coaches who think water breaks are for wimps.

I guess I'll be the one writing on the back of a twenty. Can you spot me a twenty? :)

What's the out of bounds rule in Freestyle? Hidlay just got a takedown on Ashnault over by the concession stand.
If the officials determine it’s a continuous motion, they’ll score it pretty much anywhere. The one thing I prefer about freestyle edge rules. And probably a big reason why the NCAA hasn’t seriously considered a step out (injury/lawsuit risk).
