Hope to see Sealy as well
Haven’t heard a peep about Sealey. Interesting note though. There are only 3 wrestlers on PSU roster not certified, Sealey, Nagao and Erik Gibson. Could mean they all injured and that’s why they haven’t certed yet? Just throwing that out there. No knowledge if that’s why they haven’t certified.

All entries. Excited to see 197 with Cochran, Barr, and Mirasola all going. Also 125 with Lilledahl and McHenry and obviously 157. Would love to see Ryder vs CStar as well. Should be a fun tournament
Matt Lee?!?! Gotta be honest, I totally forgot that guy even existed.

Can a fractured Democratic Party learn the lessons of 2024?

I wish @LafayetteBear were here to witness some of this cutting and pasting.... lmfao...

https://thehill.com/opinion/campaign/4998060-democratic-dysfunction/

Democrats just can’t catch a break.

After a bruising campaign season and a humiliating defeat at the polls, this week saw Dems’ internal conflicts spilling out into public view. Party insiders are now engaged in tit-for-tat Twitter battles that do nothing to offer the party a roadmap back to political contender status. Instead, they confirm normies’ worst caricatures of Democratic dysfunction.

Well, pile on the sorrows, because a new poll from Puck and Echelon Insights finds that a majority of Americans (51 percent) now dislike the Democratic Party, and think of Donald Trump more favorably than any national Democrat. That should be a wake-up call to party leaders who spent 2023 and 2024 dismissing concerns about the party’s fracturing electoral coalition.

A larger majority of Americans (58 percent) say they expect Trump will improve the economy next year, and the number of people who think the country is on the right track rose to three in 10. Those are all numbers that suggest voters are buying the president-elect’s optimistic but oversimplified economic ideas.

That poses a real problem for Democrats. Although the party’s post-election unpopularity shouldn’t come as a surprise, Trump’s growing popularity is harder for Dems to untie. The situation is worsened by the fact that no one on Democrats’ national political bench garners much enthusiasm from voters at large. Most Americans don’t even know who these people are.

Why Democrats Are Losing Tomorrow's Elections Today

Interesting take. Blue states are losing citizens. It will be material as some point should it persist.

https://www.realclearpolitics.com/a..._losing_tomorrows_elections_today_151969.html

Evidently @NJPSU didn't think of that when he was preaching that demographics would send the GOP into the waste bin of history.

America is outgrowing the Democratic Party.

That's not a partisan claim; it's demographic reality.

Blue states are shedding population and will have less representation in Congress and fewer votes in the Electoral College after the next census.

Two nonpartisan nonprofits, the Brennan Center for Justice and the American Redistricting Project, crunched the numbers last year and came to conclusions that ought to shock Democrats into changing the way they govern places like California and New York.

States that voted for Kamala Harris this year are set to lose 12 seats in the House of Representatives, and an equal number of presidential electors, after 2030, according to the two groups' extrapolations from Census Bureau data.

California is on track to lose four congressmen and electoral votes.

New York will lose three, Illinois two, while Oregon, Minnesota and Rhode Island are each going to be down one.

Solidly Republican states will get most of the gains, with Texas picking up four congressional seats and electoral votes, Florida acquiring three, and Idaho, Utah and Tennessee each adding one.

Evans, Fleming and Clifford

That's true, but if Denmark would have been getting 20 reps per game for a couple of his allowed 4 games he would be a better blocker by now, going into a must win game against a team with a pulse - Denmark could have gotten 20 reps last week vs Purdue as that was a team without a pulse. And I do believe he's a better actual WR as far as getting open goes and making the catch vs coverage than Evans and Flemming. Clifford on the other hand at least catches the balls that are thrown to him.
That's been one of my complaints with Franklin for a long time. His conservative nature doesn't allow his players to make mistakes. Allar is a physical stud and from all appearances a winner, but after all this time as a starter he is just starting to maybe turn the corner on being a great QB. Franklin was so intent on not turning the ball over that Drew was afraid to throw the ball downfield and make plays. He still shows signs of being tentative. Drew could have been slinging it last year with a few more TDs and probably a few more INTs and he would have been a much better QB at this point.

Could be the same deal with the WRs. Stick with the safe guys and hopefully win all the games we're supposed to but probably to the detriment of younger player growth.

Evans, Fleming and Clifford

I’m one of the best fans out there. Yelling on every play, supporting the team. Getting my section fired up. Questioning our coaches on message boards doesn’t make me a crap fan.

reading comprehension… I said you’re a crap fan because you want to move the bar on him, not because you're criticizing him.

You said USC was a big game.

He won that big game.

Give him credit for winning what you considered a big game. You would be criticizing him for losing that big game if they’d lost it.

If you can’t do that then yea, you suck.

Evans, Fleming and Clifford

You're a crap fan because you move the bar. You say he can't win big games. He won what you considered a big game a month ago. We know you'd be criticizing him for losing a big game to USC if he'd lost it.

I didn't say USC was a big game, you did. And he won it.

So you tell me what does that make you?

Marcus Blaze thread

Hey, weaksauce is my word of the day too. ;)

Glad to see Kosak did the apology--I can't see a world where he intentionally leaked that info. He seems like a good guy, for sure. I doubt the Blaze family is all that worked up about it. It would have been a much bigger deal to the Bassett clan, methinks.

Ultimately I think Pyles is probably an OK dude too--but he's definitely not a great public spokesman for this kind of thing.
LOL I can't believe Pyles still has a job!
