Drexel dual - Sun, Nov 17

Facundo is almost like a "Mason Manville" type situation for me and regardless if he is eventually replaced in the lineup I think he really needs to stay in State College Personally, I think he's one of the best freestylers on the team and his future should be the NLWC. It's weird that we are talking about him being replaced but I possibly see future Senior Level medals in his future.

Edit...Yes, I know Manville was a Greco-Roman guy. Lol

My guess is the plan is to redshirt Connor Mirasola, but for the sake of discussion, if he blows through the field and beats Cochran and Barr, would that change anything?
I don't think it matters if he blows through the competition. My sense from listening to Cael is that his first priority when deciding on redshirting his wrestlers is to do what the athlete prefers. All indications are that Connor prefers to redshirt alongside his brother. The second priority is if the team really really needs points to win the Natty. This year we don't need them so I can't see Cael pushing him to not redshirt for this reason either.

102-89 Penn State. This offense can put up points.
A totally impressive 2nd half. To put up the numbers they did after looking dead in the first half was impressive. Zach Hicks said Coach Rhoades wasn't too happy at half time and said he couldn' t repeat some of it on radio. I guess it lit a spark, that spark was mostly Ace Baldwin, who then got everyone else going.
Nice to see Nick Kern make ESPN highlights.

That's been one of my complaints with Franklin for a long time. His conservative nature doesn't allow his players to make mistakes. Allar is a physical stud and from all appearances a winner, but after all this time as a starter he is just starting to maybe turn the corner on being a great QB. Franklin was so intent on not turning the ball over that Drew was afraid to throw the ball downfield and make plays. He still shows signs of being tentative. Drew could have been slinging it last year with a few more TDs and probably a few more INTs and he would have been a much better QB at this point.

Could be the same deal with the WRs. Stick with the safe guys and hopefully win all the games we're

Had a chance…ball hit him in head…fail
Omg 1 play, where T-Frank said that play wasn’t even his fault.

Evans, Fleming and Clifford

The last 3 weeks have combined for a total of 45 yards. These guys are just wasting reps right now. Completely dominated by a pathetic Purdue secondary. I really don’t care if you put Reynolds in WR positions if he’s able, play Tyseer Denmark, or give more targets to Dinkins. But these 3 starting receivers are just not getting it done right now and their reps need to be reduced.

At this point we should mainly be doing 2 TE sets.
Put a TE at WR. Sure why not. Do you have any more stupid recommendations?

Wrestle-off Rumors

You guys probably already debated Kasak vs. Facundo but I I think that Kasak will win the job. Nothing against Facundo but Kasak is always getting better each match I swear and I’m not sure that I see/saw that with Facundo.
WELL AFTER THE SHOWING FOR ONE MATCH i WOULD SAY KASAK ALL THE WAY BUT FACUNDO AINT BAD!CAPS DAMN!!

Thanks to you and the other awesome people on here for the kind replies. I guess I should have mentioned that I am in the middle of PA. Literally just moments ago, I got an email from breeder I had contacted stating that someone had dropped off their list and she was going to have an extra puppy in a couple of months! Thanks again to you and the others on this board that messaged me names. Such a great community!
Sorry for the loss of your furry companion. Glad you found a place to replace her. Another option if in the mid-Atlantic is the Delaware Valley Golden Retriever Rescue. Not puppies, but good dogs looking for their forever family.

Joey Galloway suggests Indiana should consider benching their starting QB vs Indiana.

My gripe with the SEC schmucks and ESPNalities as they tear down Indiana is NOT that Indiana's schedule has been daunting. It's that Indiana has been annihilating foes. Top 25 teams don't annihilate every foe.

Only Michigan was less than a 14 point win. Michigan will sneak into a bowl at 6-6. Other probable bowl teams they beat...UCLA, Washington, Nebraska.

They aren't sneaking past average teams. They are dominating. That's what top 10 teams do.

I think they'll put up a fight in Columbus this weekend...and that should solidify their worthiness. (But ESPN will probably try to use it to say that Ohio State isn't that good and Texas should be higher...rather than admit that Indiana is just a very good team this year.)

Who would you rather play in Beaver Stadium in the Playoff first round?

Great, but so what? They still don't play zone very well and grab people in man coverage.

A few guys on defense are carrying the load. That won't cut it against a team with an elusive QB that can distribute the ball well.

If the goal is to make it to an NY6 game that is one thing. We've been there before. Going the distance is quite another.
Rojas has not emerged like I thought he would thus our LB play is so so. We haven't even faced an elite QB. Gabriel would probably have a field day as you suggest. Dart and Milroe would do damage as well. Beck, Leonard. Ewers we know even Howard all pose problems in my opinion.
