Franklin presser

Absolutely.

What is there to say? These two adults went off and, allegedly, drugged and raped a woman. Hundreds of kids come through the program and graduate. The school gives them every opportunity with millions in resources to become young men. A few don't. The quicker the program moves on the better.
The last thing Franklin wants to do is start to attempt to answer questions about this. He would be just going down a never ending rabbit hole. The media would never stop and then start twisting his answers and drawing false conclusions. Also if he made any comments it would get plastered all over ESPN, etc and volleyed about by every talking head coast to coast. Horrible PR. It is a legal matter. The two accused are no longer affiliated with the Penn State football program nor the university.

This may be racist

But can I bowl with them?

Rumor: Home duals to be held at BJC beginning 2025-26

It is THEIR product. They can market THEIR product however they want to maximize the funds received in any manner they believe is appropriate. If the demand for tickets is greater than the available tickets, I think it is appropriate that they give preference to people who donate to the NLC. They want to give perks to the people who support the athletic program. A large athletic department has to think this way if it is going to continue to participate in significant non-revenue sports.
Yes they CAN DO WHATEVER THEY WANT. I won't be the blow hole on my knees begging for more is all I'm saying. If you're gonna listen to all thier demands of such then I guess on your knees is where you belong.

There is already enough greedretelling me what I have to do and what I have to pay. Nobody in ATHLETICS is gonna tell me I have to donate when I'm already paying what they ask. Cable gone, land line gone, pay cash as much as possible.

So let me guess you tip taco bell employees that take your order behind the register, right?

Have you attended a World Series game?

Have you attended a World Series game? I was going to add in person but that would be redundant although in many cases announced attendance figures are the amount of tickets sold and not those in actual attendance as it should be. But I digress.

I have not and it's a giant vacuum on my sports bucket resume and being a Pirates fan it may be a hopeless cause which may lead me to go to Baltimore, Boston, Cleveland or Philadelphia one day if I ever hope to attend a World Series game.

So what WS games have you been to?
Was able to go to a 1969 Mets/Orioles game. As a “Little League” player, I was in heaven

Oof, yeah, then it sounds like you have been in places with completely outdated practices. No wonder you think it's awful. No graduate program in Secondary School Counseling has trained "guidance" counselors in close to 30 years. Here's a brief history: https://www.gse.harvard.edu/ideas/ed-magazine/19/08/what-happened-guidance-counselor

Hahaha and I can tell you with 100% certainty that "follow your dream" is not a counseling technique/strategy. I got my masters degree at PSU and never heard that uttered once in my graduate program ... it makes me want to puke even thinking that someone would think about saying that. If you legitimately hear any counselor say that, send them back to PSU's program for some re-education.
Funny how MD is ranked from #1 to #3 in the country for education and the county I work in has been named #1 school system in the state multiple times and yet we still use 30 year old "guidance counselor" names. 25 years in education and it is this way EVERYWHERE, good grief....

Also, what I said about the chase your dreams stuff is completely factual. Guidance counselors ask kids what their goals are in life and show them an academic path. Most of the time the path is unrealistic, like pro athlete or rapper/entertainer but they still tell the kids to do what it takes to get there.

Where in the world do you work and what is the title? Must be some high brow private school

Other PA collegiate program discussions

My first exposure to college wrestling was watching Penn State/Lehigh on Channel 33 in Hershey in the very early 1970s. Then when I went to college, I watched Lehigh matches on Channel 39. So I've always had a soft spot in my heart for the Engineers/Mountain Hawks. It didn't hurt that the late 70s was one of the best periods for their wrestling program. So I'd go PSU, Lehigh, Pitt, Penn for my favorite 4.
I have the same soft spot. Through the late 60s and early 70s I got to see most of the Lehigh PSU matches. Showing up as a kid with a Lehigh national champ got you escorted through all the backdoors into reserved seats. However, the current Lehigh style - occasionally attack while always backing up is extremely boring to watch.

Football ESPN FPI projects the remaining games on Penn State Football's schedule

Hoping to go 1-1 over the next two games. I think the Wiscy projection is too high
Although I'm confident that Penn State will take care of business against everyone but the Buckeyes, all of those projections seem to be too high. It does look like the Wisky game is the toughest game left on the schedule, other than the OSU game.
