At WVU -- no longer a good win, let alone signature win. Beat Illinois? Nope -- apparently not a significant win. Win at U$C? Nope. But Wisconsin wins at Rutgers -- THE SIGNATURE WIN OF THE CENTURY!Wisconsin up 14 on the road against 1-loss Rutgers. That game in Madison in a couple weeks is not going to be easy.
Still waiting for anyone to tell me what the Texa$ signature win was. And Georgia calls beating Texa$ a signature win? So far this year there were only two signature wins at all, and that was Northern Illinois at Notre Dame, and Vanderbilt over Alabama. Everything else depends on the rankings in December, not today.I don't deny some bias towards the SEC, but I think PSU's lack of a signature win is the reason Georgia is ahead of us. USC could have been that win, but they're not that good. I believe that if we beat OSU, we'll deserve to be ranked ahead of UGA, maybe Oregon.
That's assuming a win in Madison, which I am not prepared to do. This season, more than most, has reminded me that anything can happen. DA grew up some against USC. I hope that fire he showed is contagious. And the defense has to improve. Tackling was pretty awful against USC.
A post from Dogwelder!!!Maybe you were blacklisted, VHS, because Intermat is a Betamax site? 🧐😀
Why? If the top 6 teams are all from the B10 and SEC then they should get those seeds.Gotta pick some ACC and Big XII team to be 3/4. Clemson and K-State/BYU????
Yep, but that won't get them the high seeds projected if they lose games.Their records are irrelevant if they win their respective conferences.
I don’t really agree. PSU has had a lot of problems in the last 30 years and, I suspect, we just didn’t hear about them before. Joe was all about education and had zero tolerance but players came and left, but we didn’t always know why.Penn State used to be different from most every other program but that was under a former regime. In fact that is why that loser from LSU dropped the hammer on Penn State when he was running the NCAA. He was embarrassed that Joepa could achieve success with honor while LSU and most others lied, cheated and stole their way to any so called success they were able to achieve. Funny how they tried to take Joe and Penn State down and we’re still standing while the NCAA circles the drain. Coach Franklin has done a good job balancing all the forces in the current environment of college football but nobody can achieve 100% success. As far as you’re concerned, your envy is the one thing that shines through loud and clear.
If he gets a medical, Olympic, and regular red shirt he still has a shot at 5 titles. Yuck. The question with Ferrari isn't the 2024 Olympic Shirt. It's if he can get a medical shirt for his 2022 car wreck. He shouldn't, but who knows with the NCAA.
Also if he can stay out of trouble for 3 consecutive years. Well, OK, we kinda know the answer to that one.
One year of service doing something, not necessarily in the military. I agree. Easy for us to say though, now that we are no longer "service-eligible".The players for the Academies are committed to their country above football. I personally think our youth should have a required service to their nation. JMO
