3 point TD mid year review

One thing is crystal clear to me. My pre season prediction is coming true before our very eyes.

The team best positioned to benefit from the new role is PSU.

We out-takedown every opponent in every dual, by a wide margin. Bonus victories are far easier to attain.

I believe that our team will set a record for bonus points in this year's Nationals. GIA will start calling for the return to the old ways soon enough.

The Major is the new decision, and the Tech is the new major. I keep underestimating our kids in KYPSW. Not knowing whether to predict a major or a tech is a pretty sweet burden to face.

OT: Anyone else here into "race cars"....?

My son sent me this link and it's pretty interesting. I didn't realize that Ford was currently producting (i.e. slowly producing) a new generation of Ford GT's. I had read that Chevrolet had examined a Ferrari 458, particularly the engine, when designing and developing the C8 Corvette.

I purchased a very low mileage mint condition 2011 Corvette Grand Sport (6 speed manual) last summer as a retirement fun car to take to shows and do a little zooming and love it. If I upgraded I'd be more likely to go with a C7 Z06 or a C6 ZR1 as I'm set on having a manual transmission, but these new super cars are something to behold. We attend some car shows in the north hills that attract Ferrari's, McLaren's, Lambo's,.... which are such beautiful cars and fun to look at and compare, but do people that own them really ever drive them much. It's not like I would even drive my vette to a PSU game and park it at the stadium.

Helicopters redesigned to fit in your garage, taking $1000 pre-orders for production in 2 years ($200k sale price)

I could see this becoming more mainstream with the upper middle class. It'll be about twice as expensive as an escalade but I think a lot of people may find this doable. Verticle take off and landing. It's like flying yourself and another in a big drone.

Food for thought on the replacements for the starters that won't be back for 2024

Hard to say that Williams is a lock to start at OT over Donkoh given that Donkoh replaced Wallace in the bowl game. Nice to have competition at most of the openings.

Carter theory (NO PROOF)

Hello! This is my first ever post on this board, so I nice to meet to you all! I've been a lurker on this board for over a year (thanks for all the insight and humor during that time!), but am finally posting something on my mind haha.

This is a random theory I have about Carter seeming to be a bit gassed the past two matches. I have literally 0 proof and it's more than likely that he is dealing with an illness or slight injury.

However, is it possible Carter is already starting to weight cut a bit for the Olympic Trials? The turnaround of the NCAA Championships to the Olympic Trials is less than a month I believe, and he has to cut around 10 pounds in that time right? Could he be getting a bit of a jump start now in preparation for that? We all know that Carter loves a challenge, and I feel like he would view winning an NCAA championship while being significantly lighter than his competition as a unique thing to try and accomplish.

Anyways, just a thought and was curious if anyone else had wondered this same thing. Thanks for reading and I hope to chat more often as the season is reaching it's most exciting time!
