All-American Vincenzo Joseph. How does that sound?
"It's good. It's not what I'm shooting for, but it's good."

On what he wanted more, All-America honors or team points...
"Probably the team for sure. Obviously for me personally I want to [earn AA] but really it's a team thing."

On the endurance needed to finish the match...
"The more tired I got, I knew that he was more tired than I was, so I was just going."

On giving up the first TD against a heavy rider like Lewis..
"Definitely I had to work hard to get out. Fortunately I got in a few shots. (Bottom) was one of my worst positions that I got a lot better at but I definitely need to improve it."

On the winning takedown as time ran out...
"It was tough, but you know you've got to get the job done. I was that close. Might as well finish.

"I wasn't really too sure [how much time was left]. I was just kind of going for it."

"Red decides toooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo defer."

- This PBP guy. He's awesome.

184 Quarter: Bo Nickal vs. TJ Dudley (Nebraska)

Per 1
Bo reaches, nothing. He reaches again for an ankle, nothing. Nothing thru 1. Bo gets a single goes to a double, Dudley reaches over but Bo is awarded the TD. Looks as though Nebraska is challenging. Video review. Call is upheld, 2-0. Bo cuts him, 2-1. Bo reaches for an ankle, nothing. Ear to ear. Bo grabs an ankle, has the leg elevated, and he trips Dudley down as they go OOB at 44 sec, 4-1. Dudley up, ties a roll, and Bo cuts him at the edge, 4-2. Ear to ear again. End. RT at 20 sec for Bo

Per 2
Bo takes bottom. Bo to his feet, tripped back down, crab ride by Dudley, Bo tryin gto scoot hips out and hits a slick reversal, 6-2. Dudley to his feet, but they are OOB at 1:06. Caution on Dudley (I think). Dudley up, taken back down, up again, back down, tries to hit a switch, and Bo locks up a cradle, and he gets the pin at 4:33!!!!!!!!

Still amazing no stall call on Dean

These refs literally don't know the rules. It's mind blowing

Dean with a lucky win. Dechow had almost a reversal to end OT for the win. Under challenge now.

Comments from 174-pound freshman Mark Hall...

On the flow of his 10-2 win over All-American Zach Epperly...

"I blew the match wide open to begin with but there's still some improvement that I can do: keep scoring, getting off bottom and getting the takedown, but yeah I wrestled smart. I got the major."

On what drives him...

"After losing in the final of Big Ten it was kind of motivating. I left my Big Ten silver medal on my desk, so I see it everyday. Those things are what I'm looking at. I just want to wrestle as hard as I can for 7 minutes and keep going."

On adding All-America honors to a world-class resume...

"I'm an All-American. Yeah, it feels good, but there is still some work to be done. That's the mindset I have. That's the mindset my coaches put upon me, so there's still some work to be done. It's awesome, but I'm going to keep going."

If I'm reading the PSWC score page correctly, PSU will have 5, 6, or 7 semifinalists, and the maximum number of semifinalists that any other team has or can have is 4.

As crazy as this sounds, it looked almost like Bo intentionally gave up the reversal in order to get back into the crab ride position and go for the head.
I thought the same thing. The first time, Bo looked to be testing things out from that position.

Haught is too slick with that shuck on Cutch. That's twice and he made it look easy.

6-2 Haught now. Cutch needs to shoot at some point. He cannot keep looking to counter Haught like he does others. Haught is too quick and finishes right away. Plus, Haught doesn't go low ankle which Cutch is good at countering.
