I just hope Micic can find the mat Pletcher is assigned to. As I recall, Pletcher was very elusive last year. My prediction is that if he can find him, he will beat him handily.

Oh how much do I want to see a Buckeye losing streak and Ryan start to pucker. His expression lets you know when things are getting tight and I hope it rubs off on the team.

. 1. On OSU ... they have had a great tourney, and they could absolutely win it all. But they could end up with 0 champs as well. Everyone left is at best a tossup. That includes Snyder, a tossup with Coon. It isn't unrealistic to see them get a lot of 2nd thru 4th place finishers. The title can be taken with strong finishes by PSU and whoever OSU faces. Go Micic, Go Lee, Go Meredith and Go Coon. The rest we can handle.
2. On DeSanto ... if you can watch the final 30 seconds. Totally out of control. The head slap was aggregious. The headgear pull was not accidental. He ripped it off. Then the windmill, which miraculously landed him in good position. But he went for the submission hold and the ref had to physically intervene. That left 1 second, and he went all pouty and takes off his bands and sticks his hand out. Ref tells him repeatedly there is time left. Micic amazingly thru all this only smiled at the antics. You had a nice run kid, but keep it in check!!!

Its normally hard to root for a Hawk, but Spencer is such a great wrestler and better kid that it is so easy to like him. Finally we get Suriano v. Lee
