2019 NCAAs -- Session 4 Thread

Your understanding is very not correct. Where on Earth did you get that idea? Is that an inside joke from last year when some clowns on here thought Penn State could enter both Cassar and Rasheed at 197?

The U.S. isn't even guaranteed one wrestler at 86 kg, let alone two.
Im sorry I have no idea how it works. It was my understanding that the US team carried two per weight. It that’s not correct then my bad. I thought it was clear from the end of my post I’m a bit novice to this. Regardless, if possible hope to see Nickal and Taylor in Tokyo.

EDIT: my fault for some reason I thought it was 2. Google this morning fixed me up. Only 1 per weight.

Yes... he lived 30+- miles from State College. Not even sure what happened there. Heard too many stories... but he's a Noff / Nickal kind of guy. He would beat Jason 3 or 4 time out 10 right now. He'll get better and he won't lose again over the next 2 years.
Right now I am not swallowing the 3 or 4 outta 10.
I sat next to this kid and his father at nationals one year, very pleasant kid to talk to. I live in district 6 so watched him wrestle through school.

I always believed he was going to be really good, but he is better quicker than I thought.

As far as what happened. We had Zain and Nolf. No way in the world that kid was going someplace to sit behind Zain and Jason.

And I will truly eat crow...let’s not forget, I’m PSU “All Day”...but Gable will learn from this and be a 3-timer...he’s “18”...I hope I’m wrong but that kid is talented. That said, I can’t wait to see...
Gable won’t wrestle next year anyway. He’ll take a Oly RS

Ok, I’ll say it and ask the question. Does Mark beat Valencia? Mark has had some close ones, is that just who he is, while Valencia has been strong...who ya got? Take off the B&W goggles...be honest :)
I think Valencia has looked like the better wrestler in the tourney and he is so long. Taking off the glasses, I would take Valencia.

3/4 out of 10?? Umm what you wanna bet on that one?? Hadley’s best match against Jason’s worst & Jason still won. o_O

Not sure how many Hidlay would win, but the most (second most??-Bo) confident wrestler i have ever witnessed looked stunned and apprehensive for sure!
