I think that was the biggest part of his problem.

Hughes had another match this year that he led going into the 3rd, started on top, and top stalled his way to a come-from-ahead DQ loss.
Even Tony Nelson never got stalled out for riding
Baffled when Flo/Pyles was defending it. The decision was mind boggling from the start
Warner /Guilibon both Exceptionally talented and awesome Kids...just shows how important mentality is when it comes to winning at the highest levels. I can't relate as I am the mental equal to a soft cushy pillow. I admire the mentally tough..A LOT!!!!

Fortunately, I missed that Hughes match. Unfortunately, I have seen Nelson several times. But Gwiz washed away all the bad memories of Nelson.
