Missed the start, but Shak with a quick TD, 2-0, and Schultz with an esc, 2-1. A flurry of attacks by both of them. Schultz with a double for a TD, 2-3. Shak to a 4-point, back down, back up, tries a sit-out, Schultz stays with him. End.

Shak almost pulled it out. Gutsy performance. Shultz is good.
Rasheed had good energy. Got to like what he is doing moving forward even if it was a tough loss.
Yes he lost but I'm very optimistic from what I saw of Shak. Two more weeks to peak.
Good effort from SHAK in the 3rd. Almost pulled off that headlock.

I agree. Even though ADS is a Hawkeye, I love him. He’s passionate and a hell of a wrestler. Sure he acts like a fool sometimes but I feel it’s raw emotion. Just my opinion.
Gable could hit that double 43 times on Cassioppi if he wanted to. That this is a 1 point match right now is absurd.
I honestly believe AC would destroy the heavies this year. Better technically, and in a hell of a lot better shape. What a shame.

If you are posting about DeSanto, we have no idea what causes his erratic behavior...to my knowledge it has never been discusseded publically. No matter what condition he has, if any, at times, there are no excuses for his behavior. That being said, I really did not see anything that I would call poor behavior by him tonight.
I think Gable is just forking with him, which is dumb, IMO.
It was a rhetorical question. I have seen nothing that's publicly verified saying DeSanto is autistic. It's insulting to people with autism to call DeSanto autistic if he's not. If someone can provide me a link that DeSanto is autistic, I'll apologize. Regardless, the people calling DeSanto a pussy and bitch need to get a life.
I'm in attendance this weekend and every wrestler here is giving everything
They have. They also trained all their lives. Some have autism, some diabetes but they all train and work hard and let a slouch like become out for a weekend and enjoy the performance they provide. So I say thank you to every wrestler,coach and support personnel at every school to give this slouch that opportunity
I think Maryland went 0-20 today. That is incredible.

My understanding is that DeSanto is on the autism spectrum. There are considerable variations between individuals who have some degree of autism. As the father of a fine young adult man with mild autism and mild retardation, I have had some experience and education concerning this condition.
I will say that individuals need to be held accountable for their actions (my son had difficulty with his temper when he was a teenager and was suspended from school twice), but I do tend to look at DeSanto with an extra degree of understanding (and even forgiving).
Did he look improved at all?

Yup. I've never been impressed by him because he seems to just do barely enough to win. Nothing more. Hope Parris can do something with him.
Seriously though, he is right on the cusp of being at qualifier level. HE NEEDS TO HIT THE WEIGHTS HARD!!!!!

Actually, he does. Despite the losses and probable confidence issues as the season wore on, he still managed to pull off an upset and with a little tweak to finish some matches, he would have a nicer record.
And yes...may have qualified.
Sometimes I think theres gotta be some "history" between Steveson and Cass. Gable wrestles him as if Cass is beneath him and he almost gives off the impression like look Cass, I'm going to beat you without even trying... lol
