I wanted to take a moment to appreciate two things:
1) We presently have the number 1 or 2 wrestler in 8 of the ten weight classes. This is an earned win. Cael has been coaching this team for 16 years and we have never been here at the end of the season. March is March but I am really proud of how this team showed up for the regular season this year. No one gave us this we got here because our kids won hard matches.
2) Randomly, looking at the true freshman badasses from the last couple of years is really putting Mark Hall into perspective. LL is about as good as they get period, and it is really understandable that he is having to learn what this college sh%t is all about. Menendez got 6th his true freshman year, Stevenson third, KOT third, Levi second, etc, and everybody agrees these kids are total hammers. No one is going to feel less respect if Josh Barr gets second or third this year and he is a redshirt freshman. Mark Hall won it all his true freshman year. The dude is a legend.
