I think some absolutely need to and others just thrive in the year round grind. Mark Halls Blog about training at the OTC from may to September leaves nothing to the imagination concerning how brutal the training is yet he goes back every year. Other wrestlers need more balance. But there is pressure to keep competing, J'den skipped the Open and it caused a small uproar.Probably going Seniors since they already both beat Zain and Frank in the room.
Serious question though. Do these wrestlers ever just take a break? Could it be as simple as taking a break to spend a week with family?
