If you’re talking about board meltdown, Assad getting phantom pinned is even more likely to cause a meltdown than really getting pinned. LOL.
It is what it is-I've seen some crappy pins called this year-and that wasn't the worst.
Watching later on the replay, I saw a guy bridging like mad and when he needed a break from it, he went flat on his back and the fall was called. Didn’t look very controversial to me. Maybe a little quick, but not extremely.
It was a mercy slap. It was just a matter of time.
Well, that is not true. I don't remember anyone here EVER saying that. Those that were in favor of the NCAA Champ being decided by a dual meet tournament were the ones that said that under the current format duals don't matter and I remember that Brands did not agree with that. Nice try at making a straw man argument though.

You’re right. Going forward I will only post how outstanding the Penn St wrestling program has become. I will disparage all who disagree even if they state facts. I will also join in as we all pat ourselves on the back after the Nittany Lions win their 10th title in the last 12 years. And will pile on how the PSU wrestlers not only won their matches but beat their opponents into submission. He has the ability to convert multiple shots. I put him in the running for our most dynamic wrestler. Murin wont know what hit him and like everyone else SVN gets after will give up a stalling point, if not 2.

Murin and SVN have about the exact same result against Paniro Johnson and Austin Gomez. They both lost close matches. Each were taken down once by Johnson and twice by Gomez. SVN did take down Gomez late but it had no bearing on the match. I see this being a one takedown match as well.
Did we suddenly turn on asshole mode for Hawkeye week in here? I just want to know so that I know whether I need to be drinking heavily before I post this week.

Paniro/Murin was the snoozefest because neither have offensive mentalities. Gomez has great offense but its more sporadic and he has shown slight tank issues.The only reason Paniro beat Shayne is because he RAN for 6.5 minutes and refs whistle was broke. Max hasnt wrestled anyone this year who gets after it like Shayne and you know it.
SVN will get more than one TD against Murin.
Murin will get more stall calls than points.
