I just want to say the Coach Mytych is a fantastic recruiter!

No. He's first. Every program in D1 could've sent their head coach first. Also, do you think the Bassetts didn't pre-coordinate and expect Mytych to be the one there?
This isn't like Telford cold-calling Knox, and on top of that being far down the list of callers.

Mytych is their best recruiter and can make one hell of a pitch.

I've got to give the kid credit for figuring out that he can literally read from a list of schools he won't be attending, declare it news, and then offer paywalled exclusivity to that content, perhaps creating even more demand. As much as I hate it when companies do the same thing, I'll concede that there's a genius to what he's up to, inasmuch as he's a high schooler, with practically no content. Not that I'm a prospective buyer, but clearly he does have an audience and knows what he's doing, even if it's on a realtively small scale.
Coach Steve Mytych is one of the best recruiters and assistant coaches in the country. Highly respected. Far from just a back up coach. Smart move Rutgers sending him because he is also friends with Bill Bassett.
Or maybe better. Cut Penn State now, just to list Penn State by themselves when down to one.
I agree. PSU, anOSU and Ok State. Iowa is not in the top 3 because Richison can outbag Nichols.
The size of the bag may have some importance, but "where can I best achieve my goals" is going to be the biggest influence.

I think the size of the bag matters a lot in Bassett's decision. Just my opinion I think he feels he can win at PSU, OSU, Iowa, or tOSU. I think he goes with the biggest bag out of those 4 schools. I just find it hard to believe King Cael is going to drop a big sum of money to him right away. I think Cael knows he can keep winning titles without Bassett.
I hope not. Hope he realizes winning at psu is worth alot more in the long run. I read today Iowa is paying Deluca 500k a season. Could this be true. If so what would someone like Blaze, Jax or Bassett get. They all beat former ncaa champions. Obviously not everyone is trying to buy championships like Iowa but what do you think a place like Iowa would offer them?
