Yianni shot. Good defense from Punia. Now Yianni v. Punia
Yianni TD for 2.
Y in on shots, but not able to finish.
In again, but Punia defending. Yianni got 2 somewhere else.
Now 2 TD for Punia.
But, they take 2 away from Yianni. It is 2-2, with Punia in the lead.
Break.
If blood coming out of his nose is a lunger, then yes, he took a lunger.Did Yianni take some lungers?
And a quick 2 for JB for the tech.Burroughs gets the pushout.
Burroughs double-legs straight to Ben's back for 4. 5-0.
And another 2 and 2. 9-0. Back to center.
Ben taking ground now, but JB may have taken his foot off the pedal.
He's going to let it go to break.
Break.
dang your posts are annoying. It’s getting annoying the announcer keeps telling the front row spectators to pay attention how hard is it to get a bigger stage?
Lol that was so awful. Yianni match was great though.
Who really thought that Askren was currently on that level?
he's alright. mr miyagi is on site:He's gotta go straight to an MRI. Make sure no structural damage. That could still be ligament damage, right?
Hope DT is fine. Love him as a wrestler and competitor but if he’s out does Bo come down?
How does that work w/ his NCAA title at a weight in between the 2 olympic weights? He should stay at 92 anyway, IMO, but I'm curious.Bo is not qualified for the world team trials at 86kg
i think he qualified to choose which weight. probably wrong thoughHow does that work w/ his NCAA title at a weight in between the 2 olympic weights?
Why? Can't an NCAA champion choose the weight he will compete at, since NCAA weights don't match world weights?Bo is not qualified for the world team trials at 86kg

i'm not an expert, just basing it on the titles in the link below that says 184lb champ gets the 86kg spot at WTT and 197lb champ goes to 92kg. there could be earlier documentation that says NCAA champs can choose between two weights.

edit: found the qualification procedures. it doesn't specify what weight the NCAA champs need to go at WTT, just that they qualify.

Does Bo have a deadline to decide?
Man this sux
Has anyone heard an update on David?
Given past experience, I, for one, am shocked that Cael hasn't already called a press conference to give us an update.![]()
Considering it is only about 13 hours after he was injured, I wouldn't read anything into the lack of news. Good chance he did not have an examination by an Orthopedist last night or a MRI.David is a fairly regular Twitter poster and I haven't seen anything. Not sure what that means. Sucks for him.
Good news is he can request a delay in his Final X match which I expect him to do.Looking at the USA Wrestling calendar Fargo makes sense would give DT 6 extra weeksConsidering it is only about 13 hours after he was injured, I wouldn't read anything into the lack of news.
