I’ve seen this argument and fail to understand it. He sued them because they colluded to keep him out of the League. Taking them to court over collusion doesn’t help or hurt his social cause either way.

Washington is a dumpster fire struggling to draw attendance from what was once one of the most devout fanbases in the league. If they do something that makes no sense, assume stupidity. (I'm a Steeler fan and 30+ year DC area resident.) That said, there are a lot of places where signing Kap wouldn't cause a major stir; DC isn't one them.
