Don't have prime membership with TOM, but enough here to have a conversation. The May, 2017, U.S. rankings are below too. It will be an interesting weekend of wrestling.
Note: Kennedy moving up, so not much on him at his new weight class.

70 kg/154 lbs.
1. James Green, Lincoln, Neb. (Titan Mercury WC)
2. Isaiah Martinez, Lemoore, Calif. (Titan Mercury WC)
3. Nazar Kulchytskyy, Madison, Wis. (Titan Mercury WC)
4. Chase Pami, Philadelphia, Pa. (Sunkist Kids/Pennsylvania RTC)
5. Jason Nolf, Yatesboro, Pa. (Nittany Lion WC)
6. Alec Pantaleo, Canton, Mich. (Michigan RTC)
7. Jason Chamberlain, Fresno, Calif. (Titan Mercury WC)
8. Thomas Gantt, Raleigh, N.C. (Titan Mercury WC)
9. Jason Welch, Evanston, Ill. (Titan Mercury WC)
10. Hunter Stieber, Norman, Okla. (Titan Mercury WC)

I think he should get a rematch with Pami in the semis, and I bet he makes the necessary adjustmens. Final against Nazar would be a great match.

Edit: Probably Kennedy in semis. I'll go with Kennedy, but hope I'm wrong.

If Nolf cleans up his defensive mistakes, he can beat anyone on that list.

He tends to give up too many easy takedowns and a few 4pt moves.

I'm just not sure he can make that much freestyle improvement in such short time.

He will eventually beat Green -- just might happen in 2018 or 2019, and maybe not 2017.

we should make predictions before the weekend.
- nolf
- green
- kennedy

corrected based on Flo's projected seeds

IMar qualified at 74 KG and will likely go there (not 70 KG). I'm pretty certain Jason Welch and Hunter Steiber did not qualify. Kennedy, however is moving up from 65 KG to 70 KG, so add him to this list. Nolf should get the number 3 seed in the mini-tournament, which means semis against Pami again. He's clearly good enough to beat everyone, including Green who edged Jason 9-8 last time. The key is not to give up a 4 or turns. Here are the other qualifiers:

70 kg/154 lbs.
'17 U.S. Open champion advances to Trials finals series -- James Green, Lincoln, Neb. (Titan Mercury WC)

World Team Trials Tournament qualifiers
'17 NCAA Division I champion -- Jason Nolf, Yatesboro, Pa. (Nittany Lion WC)
'17 U.S. Open runner-up -- Nazar Kulchytskyy, Madison, Wisc. (Titan Mercury WC)
'17 U.S. Open third place -- Steven Pami, Philadelphia, Pa. (Sunkist Kids WC)
'17 U.S. Open fifth place -- Alec Pantaleo, Canton, Mich. (Michigan RTC)
'17 U.S. Open sixth place -- Jason Chamberlain, Fresno, Calif. (Titan Mercury WC)
'17 U.S. Open seventh place -- Tommy Gantt, Raleigh, N.C. (Titan Mercury WC)
'17 Northern Plains Last Chance Trials Qualifier highest placer - Dylan Ness, Minneapolis, MN (Minnesota Storm)

Steen likes Nolf getting back to Green but losing there. Makes the point that Nolf is vulnerable against more experienced freestylers who know how to use his aggressiveness against him, like Chase Pami who he'll probably see again in semis.
