To be fair, most number 1 wrestlers don't beat the snot out of number 2, 3 or 4 in a manner similar to what Messenbrink does.
No offense taken. You offered important context and when somebody refines one of my contentions, I think the least I can do is acknowledge it and thank them. If I run my yap (or keyboard), I should have a thick skin.
I don’t know if I’d rather see Angelo vs McEnelly or Plott. I’m leaning McEnelly since he’ll be back next year, but it would be funny to see Ferrari wrestle against OSU
Every once in a while Brands reminds me of the necessity of growing up in a stable family. This would be one of those times.

[Edit: I had not read the earlier posts on this topic before I responded.] The poor start to that match is what cost MM. Only three seconds into the match he sloppily marched right into a blast double from Carr. Bigger than that, though, was Carr then rode him for 1:42, thus shortening the time MM had available to get to his offense. MM seemed a little too hyped and didn't wrestle to his ability. The mental error of not knowing he was trailing in the third was the final nail in the coffin. Had he known the score, he had a full minute to push the pace and either get a stall call or TD. Had MM wrestled to his ability, both physically and mentally I think he would have won. All that being said, the bottom line is Carr deserved that win.

Nasty cut! That one is going to take some stitches. Also, that was very smart of Tyler to not try to take Teemer to the mat. That was great situational awareness/mat intelligence by Tyler there, especially in such an emotionally frenzied atmosphere and huge moment.

I'm assuming Gabe was either saying something or doing something and it was better that he was removed from the situation. I can't imagine that there is a reason in this world other than what I just typed why you wouldn't want the guy who is going to be wrestling in the post season, to not see an opponent live. Not only do you want him to see that opponent live, you get to watch someone who you train with every single day wrestle him. That would have been valuable information. Would love to hear Brands answer why Gabe was removed.

Here is Mitch against his competition so far this year. Also, who enters a match averaging 18 points a match and then lays down 19 points against the #2 ranked wrestler?
He is real tough and I think he handled the crowd booing well. The Ferrari's are very limber.
