Iowa vs Nebraska on BTN

You speak as if you ....or anyone alive can speak for the ladies. I speak of the facts. The fact is that he has been referred to on multiple occasions on campus as a/the ladies man. If true.....you need to deal with it :) . I certainly wouldn't leave until I have 'Exhausted all possibilities" or...eh......found the :right one: I would certainly take advantage of my "extra" year
Ahhhh. Yes. The short list Column A of Mrs Right and the long list Column B of Mrs Right Now.

Considering at 174 in the Big10, below Carter you have 3 studs in their own right. So no matter who is seeded 2 and 3, the 4th seed is going to be a nationally accomplished beast.

The nation's king beast is ranked first and everybody else's bad match-up, it's all good!

One way to rank the top 6 on their results this season (though one could argue Massa #2) . . .

1. Starocci (15-0)
2. Hidlay (12-1)
3. Lewis (17-1)
4. Massa (14-1)
5. Labriola (16-2)
6. Kemerer (7-2)

Conference tourney results will be huge.
174 and 285

Found this nugget on tHR.

"Referee was garbage. Cant believe the Big Ten conference cant get a decent ref. The least a ref could do is at least hide that your favoring one team or the other."

i love when people on this board post stuff like this as if there haven't been entire threads on here devoted to complaining about officiating.

"fans complain about officials" is one of the most universal phenomena in sports.

So what was Tan Tom's handle on HR?

i think he's plenty athletic. he's just extremely one dimensional.

Turk wrestled pretty dirty in that match, no doubt, but imho he out-wrestled Lovett. Lovett did not take a legit shot the entire match - and Turk took Neutral in 2nd and Lovett was out in 15 seconds in 3rd! IOW, there was well over 6 minutes of Neutral wrestling and Lovett did not take a shot and stalemated Turk shots (via ankle grabs and crotch locks) where he was in deep at least 4 times. Lovett spent the rest of the time in Neutral blocking and going backwards. The match went into the 3rd period tied 0-0... just ridiculous that Lovett was not dinged for multiple stall calls - in fact, the lack of stall calls encouraged him to continue doing exactly what he did all match - illegally stall and NOT WRESTLE. The match ended 3-0 because Turk made a desperation shot (a dive really - Lovett was on edge of mat, go figure) and Lovett easily went behind with like 3 seconds remaining; however, the match was effectively a 1-0 win for Lovett completely accruing to the absurd fashion in which it was officiated.

The ref allowed several wrestlers to wrestle the edge without penalty…often with deliberate retreats. It was like watching an old Cornell match though both teams were allowed to do it.

I think his crying out, post bow and arrow, is not going to help his reputation as a Ladies Man. 😁
Warnerov is hoping the ladies don’t see the bow and arrow aftermath. Word is he’s scrubbing all evidence from the web.

Warner seems like a really good kid ... Schultz I'm sure is but I don't like him as much after he egged on our crowd last week after the manner he won lol. But at NCAAs, still have to pull for Schultz 10/10 times if he met Warner, just the nature of the team race.
think he and Spencer were roomies their true freshman year and were good pals. Sure there was some attitude rub-off there.

Two meets in a row, so I'd say hurt. Both Gomez and Lovett were ranked above him, so it's not like he had anything to lose from a seeding perspective.

Van Brill is 6-2 in Big Ten Duals. If Murin wrestled and lost yesterday his Big Ten record would be 5-2.

So let me get this right, despite the fact that Kemerer was on his back for two complete seconds before an obviously "STUPID" freaking ref starts the count and then even after seeing on review that he was slow recognizing he should be counting he is still too f#$king stupid to get it right.

Then he repeats his stupidity by doing it again. Good Lord this f@#king clown is in way over his head.
yes that was certainly back points.guess the ref had money on kem!!

There was a time you just knew Iowa wrestling teams would show up and scrap no matter what. Sadly, ducking has become the Brands way.
Maybe once Spencer takes the helm Iowa will return to Iowa ways.
lol Spencer has been the head coach for a while!!

lol you dont have to be good looking to be a ladies man if you get my drift!!

Will watch it again but that shoulder is becoming a big problem for Kem.
May be a small problem. May be a big problem. One way or the another, we can all see that brace. He has been like this all year. Guys have won it all with such injuries. Kem is a warrior and will soldier on. Don’t think he will win in Detroit, but, he’s gonna be in the mix.

Turk was the aggressor. He wrestled like a mid tier wrestler should wrestle in his last match. Good effort Turk!

Turk wrestled like a punk, but he did out-wrestle Lovett imho. It was a Freestyle match for all practical purposes as they wrestled in Neutral for virtually the entire match (all but 20 or 30 seconds). The match went into 3rd Period 0-0 after 5 minutes of Neutral wrestling (Turk had choice in 2nd and took Neutral). Utterly absurd that Lovett was not hit with any stalls and that match went to the 3rd scoreless - if that were a Freestyle Match, Lovett would have been DQ'ed and certainly would have been down after the 1st Period.

I will also say this about Warner. He has a year of eligibility left and I am 99.9% certain that he will take it and be back. Why? Two matches ago it was mentioned AGAIN.....that his nickname on campus is "Ladies Man". I can assure you that if my nickname was "Ladies Man" and I had a year of eligibility remaining.....I am 100% certain I would be back. I gave him a .1% chance that he might not be normal :)
My hand was forced...

After watching that Turk-Lovett match, I'm convinced Beau beats Lovett if they wrestle again. Lovett has zero of his own offense and is a counter-only guy - he hit a 1-in-100 Standing Elevator Lift - Beau was chest-deep and had his leg..... I don't see Lovett pulling that off again. Was very unimpressed with Lovett in that Turk match and honestly think the Ref bailed him out in that match - no way, no how that match should go into 3rd Period scoreless the way Lovett was stalling.

After watching 174 couple times, I think Kemerer is almost one-armed out there. He has little grip with his left hand.
I wonder how Carter’s wrist is. I was concerned watching his match yesterday. Was it my imagination, or was he favoring it just a bit?

I definitely thought he was favoring it too.

I was just watching the Iowa match and had to laugh when all four of the Iowa coaches were signaling for two when Turk drove Lovett to his back literally ten feet off the mat!
What the ref needs to do to stop that crap is assess a team point penalty. None of them have the balls to do it against TnT. The attempt I'm referring to was the last one, way after the time expired and out of bounds.
