Journeymen Collegiate Duals - Dec 21-22

I can't believe sites still have this problem. How do you not prepare for the traffic.?
Stopped at 1st Sheetz on 322 after Seven Mountains on way home from
Playoff game yesterday. Around 5:30. A ton of others did the same. One young woman working the register; only two working the kitchen. Over an hour wait for MTO food.

Did they not know there was a noon playoff game?

(Management fault; I felt bad for those working.)

Kasak drops in & gets a beautiful double leg TD, 3-0, out of bounds, restart. Kasak riding a 12 match win streak. Kasak working on the left side & drives forward. Brown is bellied out now; Kasak riding tough. Kasak has Brown's wrist pinned behind his back, is up to 1:20 RT. Kasak looking for a turning combination, but is having trouble cranking Brown over. Kasak pressuring hard & it's a potentially dangerous call, restart, 23-sec left. Kasak +1:47 RT. Kasak rides out the period. 3-0 Kasak, +2:10 RT.

174 - #2 Levi Haines VS Robert Padilla

Period 1:
Levi drops in on a single & gets the TD, 3-0. Levi looking for a turn, but Padilla gets back to his chest. Levi working a figure-4 & runs the arm bar & takes Padilla over to his back, 15-sec left. Levi adjusts, and Padilla rolls back to his chest, but Levi adds 4 NF, 7-0 +1:13 RT

Period 2:
Padilla takes neutral. Levi drops in on the legs & drives through for a double leg TD, 10-0. Levi takes Padilla to his back & is looking for the pin. Padilla is fighting off his back, but there is 1-min left. Padilla gets back to his chest & it's 4 NF more Levi, 14-0, +2:15 RT. Levi working a bar arm again. He runs Padilla over & is looking for the fall, but there's only 20-sec left. The period ends before Levi can get the pin, so it's an 18-0 TECH instead.

184 - #1 Carter Starocci VS #23 Will Ebert

Period 1:
Starocci gets to a leg & drives in. Ebert is draped over his back. Starocci sits back, turns in, hips over & gets the TD, 3-0, 1:40 left. Out of bounds, restart. Starocci riding tough & goes over 1-min RT. And that's how the period ends. 3-0 Starocci, +1:46 RT.

Period 2:
Starocci takes down. Ebert throws in the boots, but Starocci grabs them & it's stalemate, restart. Starocci gets to his feet & gets hand control. Ebert tries to throw in a standing boot & gets a stall warning, then he drags Starocci back to the mat. Starocci gets both ankles & is trying to turn in or lean back into Ebert & gets the reversal, 5-0. Starocci gets Ebert bellied out. Starocci cranking hard & rides out the period. 5-0 Starocci, +1:08 RT.

Period 3:
Ebert takes top. Starocci gets to his feet, grabs Ebert's right ankle. Stall warning Ebert, point Starocci, 6-0. Starocci turns & gets another reversal, 8-0 & has Ebert on his back now. Starocci is working for the pin. He has 4 NF already, 12-0, & then gets Ebert flat for the FALL!!!

Barr with the quick TD, 3-0 & they go out of bounds, restart, 2:41 left. Barr lets him up, 3-1. Barr quickly back in on a leg for another TD, 6-1, then cuts Bailey, 6-2. Barr working on the head, gets a leg & another TD, 9-2 & out of bounds, restart. Barr riding, 1:45 left. Barr cranking on Bailey, then cuts him, 9-3. Circling, Barr snapping & thencomes behind for another TD, 12-3. Barr cranks Bailey over with a reverse headlock & gets 4 NF, 16-3. Then, they go out of bounds, restart, 46-sec left. Wow! Barr is on fire! Barr cuts Bailey, 16-4, then drops in on another blast double, but they go out of bounds, no scoring, restart. Circling, Barr snapping hard, then he comes behind for a final TD & the 19-4 TECH!!!

Like a hot knife through soft butter. Gotta say the Binghampton fellows looked well coached in various techniques to hold off superior wrestlers. Great group of hard core PSU wrestling fans here at this fancy private school.
