285: Kerkvliet DEC Parris 21-9
Several matches are going to be nail biters. They might have bonus on their side in a couple of matches, maybe 125, 157, 165, but our guys in those slots haven't been giving up bonus. Hildebrandt, for instance has only ever given up bonus to Spencer Lee (2x) and Seabass. Suriano has bonused three guys in his entire career ranked higher than 20. Is he that much better now?
I ain't skeered.
How do you see the matches going?I don"t see Kerkvliet beating Parris!
Happened the last time they wrestled. Admittedly, in Freestyle—but I call it a toss up—as I do this dualI don"t see Kerkvliet beating Parris!
Open your eyesI don"t see Kerkvliet beating Parris!

If we were to lose it won't be easily. We could easily lose this meet. What do you think about the matchups?
While on paper, and based off last year's result it would not seem likely - Kerk winning will not surprise me.I don"t see Kerkvliet beating Parris!
I agree with the above except for heavyweight! How do you see the matches going?
I agree with the above except for heavyweight!
Suriano major over Hildebrandt? I can't see Suriano initiating that volume of offense against a quality kid.125: Suriano MD Hildebrandt 0-4

141: Lee DEC Micic 6-4
149: Bartlett DEC Storr 9-4
157: Berge DEC Lewan 12-4
165: Amine DEC Edsell 12-7

184: Brooks DEC Amine 18-7
197: Dean DEC Brucki 21-7
285: Parris DEC Kerk 21-10
He majored Heinselman last night. Drew beat Malik in SV in 2019. Transitive property, etc, but I think a major is within the realm of possible. I imagine the atmosphere at the dual is going to be a factor--not Carver/Rec levels, but still something that could edge some of these bouts toward bonus/upset.Suriano major over Hildebrandt? Cael coached quality wrestlers don't get bonused. Just saying. He majored Heinselman last night. Drew beat Malik in SV in 2019. If he could finish a TD consistently against top competition... but I've yet to see it, so no he shouldn't have.I think Romero should of won that match.
Have to think Mattin has the leverage advantage, though. An intriguing matchup that has every indication of being a nailbiter.Mattin and Beau are stylistically very close--both preportedly much stronger than they look, and very positionally sound. Beau is a quicker athlete though.

Ah, but the real measure is performance vs. Sasso. 😉Beau had no trouble with Mattin in their extra match at the dual last year.
But I could see Lee ragdolling micic if he isn't up to par. I'm picturing a gassed micic in the third praying for it to be overSuriano major over Hildebrandt? I can't see Suriano initiating that volume of offense against a quality kid.
Lee’s absence has me concerned a bit. His tank may also reduced. But I could see Lee ragdolling micic if he isn't up to par. I'm picturing a gassed micic in the third praying for it to be over
He did beat him last year freestyle, don’t count him out!I don"t see Kerkvliet beating Parris!
Have never heard a wrestling match referred to in that way. Have heard "wrestling dual meet" or just "wrestling dual" or "wrestling match", but never "wrestling meet".
Not going to get into an extended banter, but I have:Have never heard a wrestling match referred to in that way. Have heard "wrestling dual meet" or just "wrestling dual" or "wrestling match", but never "wrestling meet".

Again, have never heard of a "dual meet", which is what the upcoming Michigan-PSU match is (or Tri or Quad Meet for that matter), merely referred to as a "wrestling meet".... a "wrestling dual meet", yes or a "wrestling match", but have never heard of a "wrestling dual meet" refered to as simply a "wrestling meet" - maybe as simple as the region of PA I'm originally from (NW PA - a very well known wrestling area), but nobody would refer to such an event as simply a "wrestling meet". "Track Meet" -yes. "Swimming Meet", yes. But have never heard "Wrestling Meet" without the "Dual" placed in front of meet when two teams are facing each other as Michigan and PSU are.Not going to get into an extended banter, but I have:
“TYPES OF MEETS
- Dual A dual is any head to head match between two schools. Conference meets are generally duals.
- Tri or Quad A tri meet and a quad meet involve three or four teams at the same event. Each team will wrestle two separate matches at a tri or quad.”
Good luck to ya!Again, never heard a "dual meet", which is what the upcoming Michigan-PSU match is (or Tri or Quad Meet for that matter), merely referred to as a "wrestling meet".... a "wrestling dual meet", yes or a "wrestling match", but have never heard of a "wrestling dual meet" refered to as simply a "wrestling meet" - maybe as simple as the region of the PA I'm originally from ((NW PA - a very well known wrestling area), but nobody would refer to such an event as simply a "wrestling meet".
