McDanel is good and Barr just beat the piss out of him. That was impressive
The Andrews kid just showed more competitive spirit and gumption than the entire Illinois team.

Period 1:
Andrews shoots, but was way too far out & Kerk just backs away. Kerk ties up & drives Andrews to the edge. He snaps & drops to a leg. Andrews tries to throw Kerk with double unders, but doesn't have the horsepower & Kerk lands on top of him for a TD, 3-0. Andrews gets to his feet on the edge, but they go out of bounds, restart. Andrews is still down. Kerk breaks Andrews down, then it's stopped for something, restart. Andrews gets to a quadpod. Kerk is riding heavy & breaks Andrews back down to his base & then has him bellied out in the center of the mat. Kerk has a boot in & the ref calls a stalemate, restart. Kerk has 1:35 riding time. Andrews gets to his feet, but Kerk jacks him up & brings him back to the mat. Andrews is bellied out & gets a stall warning. Andrews works back to a quadpod. He tries to roll, but Kerk stays with him & rides out the period. 3-0 Kerk, +2:21 RT
Period 2:
Kerk takes down. He rolls & gets the escape, wait it's a reversal, 5-0. Andrews is quickly belied out again. Kerk is looking fo)r a cradle, but can't lock it up. Andrews is bellied out again & gets another stall warning, point Kerk, 6-0. Kerk works a tilt & gets a 2 count, but then Andrews gets a reversal, 8-2 (2 NF Kerk & 2 reversal Andrews.) Out of bounds, restart. Kerk is still down. Andrews gets high & Kerk just pops out the back, 9-2. Kerk just shucked Andrews off his back. Tying up, Kerk with a hard snap, but can't find an opening. Kerk comes forward, drops to an ankle & adds another TD at the buzzer, 12-2 with a big bucket of riding time.
Period 3:
Andrews takes down & Kerk quickly has him bellied out. Kerk goes over 3-min riding time is is working a tilt, but can't get swipes. Kerk adjusts, goes back to the tilt & adds 4 NF, 16-2. Kerk hits another tilt & adds 4 NF more for the 20-2 TECH!

Barr is insane. Turning point for me was watching him have great exchanges with Kadiev, who might be the best 86KG wrestler in the world. Just a great athlete who is tough as hell, and I completely overlooked his RS year because I didn’t think he wrestled anyone.

Smith shoots, Luke counters, but nobody scores. Luke comes forward again. More circling & hard slaps as the period ends. 1-0 Smith

That was sweet. Don't think LL was ever in trouble he pushed the issue the whole match. I loved that left right left movement he's quick and always in motion. What a freshman
Damn....LL stalked that kid all match. That TD was earned in over six minutes of hussle.
