Guy was offensive once in the match and Luke scored
Luke has the wrestling IQ of a 5th year senior. Just so smart and no wasted movement. I think he wins a lot of 1 td matches this year but will never really be in danger of losing those tight ones. Just like this match, close score but Luke controlled the action pretty well
I was going to post the same thing.
This time last year there was a lot of angst about neutral instruction at Davison High School.
It's worse than the constant Mariah Marinelli shots of a few years ago.

Van Dee is trying to fight him off. Davis elevates the leg, but Van Dee gets the TD Van Dee has Davis on his back & is getting swipes. Van Dee gets 4 NF, 7-0. Davis gets to his base & gets the escape, 7-1. Circling in the center, 90-sec left. Davis with a half shot. Stoppage & restart. Davis shoots & gets a double leg TD, 7-4. Davis has the wrist locked up & is looking for a tilt, but can't get Van Dee over. Van Dee turns & gets a reversal, 9-4 & almost adds more back points. Davis keeps working gets an escape just before the buzzzer, 9-5 Van Dee

Davis takes down. Davis works for the escape, 9-6. Tying up in neutral, 1-min left. Van Dee has double unders & they break. Van Dee has 44-sec riding time. Tying up. Van Dee is working a 2 on 1. Davis looks to the corner & the coaches are telling him to shoot again this period. Davis tries another double, but Van Dee blocks him off & that's how the period ends. 9-6 Van Dee
Period 3:
Van Dee takes down. He gets to his feet & gets the escape, 10-6. Tying up in the center. Davis with a front headlock & tries a big throw, but that was a bad setup & Van Dee drops on top for the TD, 13-6. Davis gets the escape, 13-7, 50-sec left. Davis shoots, but no luck, 33-sec left. Davis shoots again, but no luck again & time runs out. That's an unfortunate loss. The first exchange was big. Davis almost had the TD, but Van Dee came out on top & caught Davis on his back. Van Dee seemed to be a little better at scrambling than Davis. Time to get back to work.

Davis dug himself quite the hole. It was very clear what Van Dee was looking to do, Davis didn't see it.
Davis didn't need to go big there.
Poorly wrestled match by Davis but Van Dee is a guy who can beat anyone on his day
Van Dee brought it for sure. But Davis needs to wrestle a much smarter match.
Davis is gritty. He’ll be better after that.
