And each of the 4 losses nebby face a better opponent, weird how that works out.PSU lost 4 matches in last year's dual vs Nebraska, including Smith over Davis by MD ... Ridge beat Kasak ... Pinto took out Truax - and of course PA kid Van Dee beat Shunk.
The core of Nebraska is very experienced ... the match is in Lincoln ... Nebraska starting 12-3 at the break is a real scenario, just as much as us Nittany Lion fans thinking we could post a shutout.
12 hours and counting ... let's GO!
100% agree on Van Ness with the majorHot Take: Van Ness Majors Lovett. 125, 133, 141 and 157 will all be very competitive, low-scoring battles. OTOH, Van Ness makes a huge statement with multiple TDs and a barrage of offense that leaves Lovett shaking his head in bewilderment. Let’s say something like 13-3, 10-2.
WE ARE!!!

I think we get two bonus points wins in the first 5 bouts.Hot Take: Van Ness Majors Lovett. 125, 133, 141 and 157 will all be very competitive, low-scoring battles. I'm excited for our guys to p@$$ all over some graves tonight at 9.
It would be beyond hilarious if a PSU fan were in attendance tonight and yelled at Manning that he needs to retire.I'm excited for our guys to p@$$ all over some graves tonight at 9.
Carter's interview has me all rev'd up.
I will donate $100 to the Nebraska program if it wins 4/5 matches from 125-157. I would be floored.PSU lost 4 matches in last year's dual vs Nebraska, including Smith over Davis by MD ... Ridge beat Kasak ... Pinto took out Truax - and of course PA kid Van Dee beat Shunk.

I'd like to see them practice some fists to the back. Use it when Sanderson is distracting the ref.
They better be quick because he’ll be off the mat in about 4 minutesMentioned on the other Nebby thread...I had totally forgotten about the Mess/JB fracas and resulting Manning tantrum.
What kind of welcome can Mess expect tonight?

he is in NJ, right?I just want to see Jordan Burroughs looking frustrated and dejected after 141.

Their p4p rankings don't match their weight class rankings either. It's flo.reading up on the Flo preview for the dual (paywall I think), they have us winning 9 or 10 matches. Also find it peculiar that they rank LLL #16 in the country but also #10 in the world 🤔🧐🤷♂️

And their is the grammer police to fix though's missteaks. Now's
I don't see lovett beating van Ness in scrambles to often, of course he is gonna win some but the only position that I think Lovett has the upper hand is riding. I want to see Van Ness choose bottom, I don't think Lovett holds him down all 2 min.I think Van Ness vs Lovett is the match I'm most looking forward to. Lovett seems to thrive on counter offense/scrambling from neutral and throwing in double boots on top to grind out matches against elite guys.
If Van Ness can get to his legs, finish cleanly/quickly without getting caught in those funky scrambles and get out from bottom, I'll be impressed and I think he'll be in great shape for March (not that he isn't already).
My kywsp picks or whatever it is, i took the Dec reluctantly100% agree on Van Ness with the major
We think alot alike. In KYPSW I have us going 10-0, and somehow I felt like I gave Nebby too much respect with all of the Decisions I called. I just couldn't bring myself to view any of the first 4 as a loss despite the high level of competition.
Maybe if the match was being held earlier in the year when we typically have that one head scratcher of a dual, but you can just see virtually every kid is getting better each time out as we move through January.
10 AAs is squarely in our sights for the first time ever, and so far it has taken #1s to eeke out two close ones.
Here's to Beau taking some real shots in the first two periods, Luke being more comfortable each meet and letting it fly, and Davis and Kasak leaving any reason to be conservative on the plane.
As for SVN, the nonbelievers get a dose of reality tonight. He has separated.
I mostly agree with you, but to my recollection, the “training through” dual has often been mid to late January. Could be tonight, but I don’t think so either.Maybe if the match was being held earlier in the year when we typically have that one head scratcher of a dual, but you can just see virtually every kid is getting better each time out as we move through January.
That was a dominate reply, showing you're masturfull and nuansed grammer skils. And their is the grammer police to fix though's missteaks.
how many ounces is that missteak? And their is the grammer police to fix though's missteaks.
I have a gut feeling that this will be a "hell week" dual where some of our guys struggle due to heavy practices. It usually occurs right about now. So don't be surprised if some of our guys "gas" just a little bit. We might still win 40-0 but it may be an "ugly" 40-0 lol.
It's Nebraska. More like this:
We're starting at 174. I'll go out on a limb and say we start 4-0.
