Navy, by chance?PABulldogs, as a newbie myself, welcome aboard! A quick rule for you as a newbie. If you screw up, apologize profusely and at great length. Try to spice up your apology with appropriate quotes of sorrow and repentance. This will ingratiate you with the other posters and give you Forum cred. (Just an inside joke). I went to HS in Oregon and our school mascot was a bulldog and the HS mascot of where I live outside of San Diego is also a bulldog, so we are in good company!
Nope. I moved to San Diego in 1987 to join SDPD and retired in May of this year after 32 years on the job. In 1986, I graduated from Southern Oregon State College, now Southern Oregon University..
Nice, we moved from Herminie PA to Oceanside in 1978. I went to HS in Oceanside and Fresno State. I moved my family back to PA about 6 years ago. Congrats on the SDPD tour.
San Diego living during Feb is cool. Visiting your son in the Navy nice. My kids are still in HS. Have fun in the sun.

Technically Gods country is Potter County PA. I know this because there's a sign indicating so.....
I can say 'we' when talking JMU as I paid for 3 kids going through and the last adding an extra year! Might even check our semi-final fball game Saturday! My 5 seconds claim to fame was attending one of their playoff games ~3 years ago and caught on ESPN as the camera scanned the crowd. I got a text from a guy I work with 10 seconds later with a screenshot of me with my PennState sweatshirt on!

The only thing worse than posting scores of other sporting events, apparently, is complaining about it.
You went to college in Ashland. I've seen four of the Shakespeare plays in the Globe replica theatre. Great community in a great natural setting.

Awesome! Unfortunately, despite not being that far from there, I have never set foot on campus. Online MS in 2014 (32yrs after my BS -- I was working on a final project between sessions in Oklahoma City
), and events conspired to keep me away from the graduation. But I do watch the games!

Oh man it was freakin culture shock. One day I was in Herminie #2 waiting for the snow to melt to take out my brand new yz80 in Feb. On one occasion I posted several messages in a short period of time. I then received a message saying I could not post again until a specific portion of time had elapsed. Unfortunately I have forgotten the specific wording of the message. I believe the message said I would be able to post without limit if I paid for the premium version of Rivals.

Yep that was it. After my second reply as I was sending a brief message at the bottom said that I would have to wait to reply.
