I can understand being upset with poor officiating but perhaps our players shouldn’t let it be in their hands to begin with?
Clifford holds on to the ball and even if they punt then there’s a far lower chance of Illinois scoring.

The crap is deserved. So he has straight-line speed, he really improved in that area over the last couple years. But he is out of position routinely in coverage and takes bad tackling angles. I wish that were not the case, but it is. Still glad for him having the KO moment.
he's dinged up, and didn't start. Conflicting reports as to whether he's out for the game or they're just hoping to not have to use him.
He definitely seems better when he knows what to do than reacting to what he sees. Would have been interesting to give him a couple go routes.
Think of all the bland KO returners we've seen the last 3.5 years. Wonder why the coaches couldn't have figured out that Wade was a home run threat a little sooner. Like 3 years sooner...... Wade set records at Clairton on OFFENSE.....
