I think the chances of Spencer beating Nato are looking slimmer all of the time. Spencer has slow feet for such a great wrestler and Nato is a hard guy to muscle around. Maybe he can turn him, but not seeing it as being very close from neutral. Bad for PSU in team point implications.

It was Terry with the back touch. Smith already had a bench warning. After that he walked to the scorers table and shouted god knows what across the mat. I don't agree with the point deduction but it has happened before in Stillwater. 2 teams with 57 national championships butting heads. Sparks are flying, no doubt about it. Respect that

A lot of upper ties, Bull w/ a couple of stuffed shots. Nothing yet a minute in. Rogers in on shot but blocked. Bull in on single, but Rogers gets foot down and breaks it. 0-0 end of 1.

Rogers down. Escape early (1-0). Rogers w/ nice shot, penetration, scramble, head outside, Bull breaks grip ans gets behind (2-1 Bull). Period ends.

Bull takes bottom. Quick escape (3-1). Upper ties, not much happening. Rogers shot stuffed. Tries again, Bull counters when Rogers sits through, wins 5-2. I must have missed a point somewhere.

A big issue for NATO is the season long cut and wrestling Friday at NCAA's with a Saturday weigh-in to contend with.

Gunther takes bottom. Gunther up to 4-pt stance, Smith hangs on side. Gunther eventually spins to face but no hip separation. Eventually gets escape (1-1) before RT accumulated. Then Smith hits TD w/ 15 secs left (3-1). OOB, but nothing on restart. Smith wins.

clueless announcers (such a surprise with the BTN duo) -- acting as if Jacobe Smith was wrong, and Smith was mad at him, for pushing Gunther OOB. Smith was on hanging on the legs, and the refs count was at 3. The only way he could pull Gunther back on the mat was to continue to hang onto the legs. And he already had a stall warning, so another 5 count would have been a point for Gunther. Smith made the absolute right move -- push Gunther OOB (I think there were 10 sec left), and not give up the stall point, and go back to a restart in the center.

Bowman gets behind, almost a TD OOB. AC/DC's TnT playing during Brands challenge (nice!). Then 2 awarded (of course). 2-0 Bowman. Escape, then Bowman w/ TD (4-1). Moore turning pink all over. Then gets out for escape (4-2). Bowman in on shot, but they go OOB. Period ends 4-2 Bowman. Moore still pink.

Moore takes bottom. Escapes when Bowman gets high throwing in legs, then immediate blast double for TD (5-4 Moore). Another challenge, and more AC/DC playing in background. Score doesn't reflect this, and on escape, it says 5-4 Bowman. I give up. TD Moore and escape Bowman(6-6).

Bowman takes bottom in 3rd. Escapes (7-6 Bowman). TD Bowman (9-6), Moore really pink. Bowman rides out, wins 10-6.
