Richards and Gilman both looked unimpressive against HS kids. There's a good chance the US isn't qualified at this weight in the end.
 
Spencer is looking pretty good, though. He's clearly the US's best shot if his knee isn't injured again by the last chance tournament.
 
Ahh crap. The NBC Sports app for me was a 30 minute timed trial only. I am blocked now, short of subscribing
 
Spencer looks tired. He was killing Nico in the 1st, but not so much now. Admittedly, he's up by 8 and perhaps he doesn't feel any real urgency.
 
Despite being down 0-8 against Lee, Nico's had a strong 2nd period. He's been in on the leg 3 times, just can't finish.

i told you that forrest match would be interesting. gilman wanted no part of the scrambling. got to a leg once and hung on for dear life. got by by bullying him with the underhook.

why was that not 2 and 2 for bartlett but Haines got 2+2+2 with his turn and marinelli was less out of danger than McKenna?
