Michigan vs Ohio State barely moves the needle in wrestling. It’s maybe the 4th best rivalry in the conference.

Re. college wrestling, the Big Ten thought so much of it that they handed Ohio State to Penn State, and Michigan to Michigan State as the "rivalry" match-ups. If a couple hundred miles of geography can offset "the greatest rivalry in all of sport", that's not saying much for the rivalry.
There is also the good-old fashioned rivalry:
"Hips to the Party" vs. "Workman-like performance" (empty BTN announcer mantras)
"X is beating Nico in the room" vs. "X is in the practice room right now"
Cliff Keen commercials vs. Rocket Mortgage commercials (we all lose from this rivalry!)

I don't know how implications of seeding work but it's clear at this point Nick is at 141 to stay. We've seen some bumping up just for challenge purposes recently (Gross went up to face Bryce Meredith and Seabass went up when he was 125 to give it a go vs Micic)
That being said, that doesn't strike me as a Cael move. I remember it was suggested he could move Zain to 157 to wrestle Micah for the OSU when Nolf was out. Cael never has gotten fancy with weights for dual purposes.
Not with starters, but Pipher and Manville were all over the lineup for us when called upon.
