PSU - Army Dual Thread

gave up IE long ago... google chrome seems to be so much more reliable and even faster.
Using IE. Can't get a stream at all. Got the "Army Wrestling" lead-in, but it stops there.
Haven't seen anything of the match.

Cutch scores 1st with a TD (went double and got an ankle), and then he rides rather well. Caywood finally with an esc, but Cutch gets 1:01 in RT. Period ends 2-1, Cutch, with 1:01 in RT.

Caywood gets the RT to 1:29 before Caywood escapes, so it's 2-2. Stall warning on Caywood. And that's how the 2nd period ends

Cutch takes down. Needs to get out in 28 sec or less to maintain RT. Cutch gets out in 26 sec, so RT is at 1:03, and Cutch with a 3-2 lead. Caywood in on a single, but Cutch fights it off, and the period ends. With RT, it's 4-2, Cutch.

PSU - 40
Army - 0

Cutch a little tentative. Understandable. Caywood also pretty long. Glad he got the win against a ranked opponent.

Thanks for the pbp! I appreciate being able to check up on the duel while I'm at work!

Nice to see Nevills healthy at the start of the season.

Nevills wtih the TD 49 sec in to the 1st. Nick tilts him (the old arm bar and opposite wrist), and swipes are being given. 4 NF makes it 6-0. Nevills cranks him again, and 4 more NF, 10-0. And that's how the 1st ends. 2:11 in RT for Nick.

Nevills starts down. Quickly up and out, 11-0. TD Nevills from a single leg makes it 13-0. Nevills cuts Farr, so it's 13-1. Nevills with another TD, 15-1. over 1 min left in the period. Nevills cuts Farr, 15-2. Nevills in on a high crotch to a single and gets the TD and the TF, 17-2 at 4:31.

PSU - 45
Army - 0

PSU had to have around 40 TDs in the match. Army had, hmm, not many. I remember Parsons.

Cutch is the Ernie Lucas Award winner.

Nevills looking much more solid physically. Really hope he stays healthy. Very nice start.

Neville reportedly weighed in at 251.2 lb. I like that weight better than the 263 lb he was at last season. Thought he looked flabby at the latter weight (263), plus he clearly wasn't in top wrestling shape after the long lay-off from the injury.

Cutch being interviewed.

He felt good, felt strong, against Caywood. Has to get out of ties quicker against the big guys at 197. He did some things wrong he needs to fix for Sunday.

Talk about the young guys:
- I think it's awesome. They were itching to wrestle someone other than in the room. They will have great seasons

Talk about the balance of the lineup/chemistry
- it's awesome. My HS team was really close, and it's nice to be on another close team. We're loose off the mat, but really pulling for each other on the mat.

Can't wait to get back to Rec Hall before our fans. It's nice to get out there against a nice Army team and show what we can do.

Talk about going from cutting weight to getting to 197
- very important to me. Need to put on good weight. Need to get stronger, and to get in the weight room.

Very impressed with the new guys in the line up constantly pressing the action along with being hammers on top... Nick Suriano, Jered Cortez, Cenzo Joseph and a healthy Nick Nevills. Bodes very well as the team starts the season and looks towards bigger days and it's chief rival matches against Ohio State and Iowa.

Great points.

To add, I think all 5 of the new guys got at least one set of NF points.
Cortez & Nevills had multiple turns.

Cortez looks nasty on top.
