watching the Nebraska game again, and our play on ST's was extremely weak. these were mental errors that would lead you to believe that there has been no instruction around the rules, situations and scenarios that you would expect to see during ST play. this was a blowout game but if had been important these were game losing mistakes.

mental errors, didn't matter overall. who cares at this point, they could win 10 games against most of these teams fumbling the ball 5 times per game. the bottom half of the big 10 is that bad.
totally agree that we can get away with this vs some of the BIG teams. not sure this would work vs UM, OSU, Iowa, Wisky, MSU or NW.
Our special teams earlier in the year were outstanding except for the place kicking. KO run backs, punts, coverage were all good. Recently, not so much. I think the wet turf was a factor against Nebraska.
Well, considering we don’t play any of those teams again this year, it won’t be an issue.
