To be more specific: all consolations matches are being streamed on the "Finals" link:Same one. They are only rolling on one now.
Going to go off the hinge and predict a Frank victory. Chamizo going to be down about not getting a gold...at least that's my hope
Soooo close. Hey guys NOONE was expecting Frank to be wrestling for Bronze....GREAT JOB WITH A TOP 4 FINISH !!!! He was not even ranked in the top 20 two months ago !!!! 2 more seconds and he wins...GREAT JOB AND WE ARE VERY PROUD OF YOU....A LOT OF GREAT LIGHT WEIGHTS WOULD LOVE TO BE IN OUR ROOM WRESTLING YOU AND GOMEZ WHO WANT TO BE WORLD CHAMPS...SO PROUD....YOU PUT YOUR HEART ON THE LINE....that knee drops 2" and he is olympic bronze. So close for bronze. Just needed to get the knee down and he would have won.
3-5 final (after the failed challenge). What was score of bronze match?
4 to 3..Guy got another point for the ref to take a second look...What was score of bronze match?
I agree. Zadick is WAY overrated...Exposure was there if you watch again....Give Cael that spot....Time to torch Zadick's contract. Should have challenged the exposure

Sadly this isn't a folk vs free argument, it's a domestic vs. international argument -- just ask Roy Jones Jr. But to be sure, international wrestling has had more than its share of such events -- hell, just a couple months ago, a Russian official waived a gun on the mat while arguing a call.
UWW needs to become a leader in all of sports, in cleaning up this garbage once and for all.
One way to do it: unlimited 3-min periods until either a pin or a 10-pt TF. It would minimize the effect of any single screwjob ruling on the mat, and it would make conditioning even more of a factor (which OBTW favors us, but never mind that).
Yes. International wrestling has a long and very proud history of cheating without embarrassment.Nate Carr was blatantly screwed in a semi-final match on a blatant scoring-error at the end of the match in 1998. The US Olympic Committee filed a protest and it was widely recognized that it was a wrong call screwjob, but they claimed nothing could be done. Carr ended up winning the Bronze match.
Well, Zadick could've taken his clothes off but he didn't.you realize cody sanderson was in the corner and through the challenge at the end

Yea...I thought it was his own guys in the corner, not Zadick. I thought it was exposure...so did Frank. But I don't think his guys had the angle.

Frank did a great job and almost pulled it off. I'm not convinced even if they challenged that call it would have been overturned. In real time it didn't look like an exposure to me. Plus we don't know the angle (do we) that the judges would have had.
Frank is right there with the best in the world. My hats off to him for an incredible run through the US Olympic qualifiers, tournaments to try and qualify the weight, and the Olympics.
