US Open

has anyone seen if James Green has entered? Jason could win a trip to final X next weekend.

This is for Mr. Brooks, or anyone else who might know. Because Aaron won the silver at last year's junior world's does he still get the buy into the WTT's finals? Would that make his entry into the US Open just for the competition or do returning medalists no longer get byes to the finals?

Juniors have to win the open to get the WTT bye, I wish the world medalist got the bye, then he could wrestle seniors at the open for the experience.

Anyone with a good memory??

In which of these 3 tourneys are the finals “Best of 3”?

U.S. Open - a single final match ?

WTTs - I cant remember if 1 or 3 in finals.

Final X - obviously Best of 3.

Anyone ever state why Mark Hall is skipping the Open ??

Think he’ll enter WTT ??

Hall isn't qualified yet for WTT since he didn't win NCAAs. If he doesn't wrestle at the Open and finish in the top 7 (or is it 8?), he will need to enter the the Last Chance tournament (or whatever they are now calling it) in order to qualify.

If he doesn't compete in either, he won't be in the mix. Who knows; maybe his plan is to wrestle in the U23s this year. (Isn't he 22 years old?)

Only a few days away from the US Open and the most interesting thing going on here is the tremendous discussion of Bo's new logo.

Anyone have any thoughts or picks for who is going to win the Open?

I think Bo wins 92. I don't see based on the pre-seeds who is beating him. That would put him in the WTT finals against someone that he probably beat in the Open which would then get him to Elite X vs. Cox.

Zillmer is solid and experienced. No one else can touch Bo, but that one could be close.

I’m most jazzed to see if Jason has solved his Green puzzle yet. I’m thinking yes.

Would love to pick Zain, but think he might need one more year in his “slimmer” body to beat JO, and the rest of that bracket is a wildcard.
