Walsh Ironman

I didn't change my arguement. He was wanting that stall call and point. Just my opinion, but if you are looking to score a stall call (point) your focus may be off.
As far as half shots and full shots, he took both. You count half shots as full shots, I don't.
As far as pushing the offense, Marinelli worked his offense in all three periods, but everytime Marinelli posted Lewis' arm and dropped to his knees, Lewis would reshoot, and more than once came close to scoring. The winning TD was off one of these reshots.

At the end of this whole entire back and forth you even admitted he was looking for stall calls twice in the second period.
So according to you Marinelli did not wrestle to score a stall point, but he wanted a stall call (point), but he didn't, but he did, but he didn't.

Relax. Maybe this year when things get tight he will wrestle through it and score a championship. Then you can tell me how full of crap I am.

I think there's a difference between "wrestling to score a stall point" and wrestling aggressively while expecting stalling to be properly enforced.

I’m a Marinelli fan. obviously he won’t supplant Cenzo in my heart anytime soon, but Alex is the man. I have seen guys give up takedowns when their attention is outside the realm of the competition (hate to say it, but McKenna versus Lee in rec Hall was one)— in general, I think the Penn State wrestlers do a pretty good job overall of keeping their focus where it needs to be during a match. whether or not Iowa has problems in this matter is pretty subjective, and I don’t have enough personal data to comment on it.

Let’s tie it all together and put a bow on this thread: Marinelli was a four time Ironman finalist, winning his last two years, and securing OW in his senior campaign with a fall over Justin Thomas in the finals.

Like there wont be a herd of Lion fans already over there trying to straighten him out? Why would it be an Iowa fans job on HR to police what Grip said over here on BWI?
Actually a group of lions would be referred to as a pride, not a herd. As you may know, lions typically feed on various species of animals that congregate in herds. Much like the Nittany Lions have done on the rest of the college wrestling herds for most of the last decade.

Grip is the embodiment of herd mentality where members of a herd mindlessly follow one another over a cliff without recognizing the danger.

The cliff is a metaphor for defeat which won’t occur until March. In the meantime, the herd Is focused on January but that’s just a small valley that is inconsequential. By the time they reach the cliff in March it will be too late. But there’s always next year ...
