Wyoming dual - Sun, Dec 15

No Volk at 125 or Novak at 197. Might as well wrestle all backups this dual and see if we still get a shutout

I like it

Yeah, pretty much. Wouldn't be surprised at all to see several true freshmen use up a free competition date.

Wyoming has a terrible lineup without Volk and Novak. Only 2 other starters with a winning record. Hill (157) is 7-2 and looks decent but not great. He beats the guys he should. Either of our guys should beat him, and probably with bonus, but he might put up some fight.

O'Brien (133) is 4-3 and that's inflated. He lasted 0:20 (not a typo) against Bouzakis at CKLV.

PAgeologist, your Cresson Mountain is killing me. Most likely scrubbing the mission to Wyoming match as your Mountain is more fit for the Ice-Capades tomorrow.
I actually just jumped on here to put out a warning for anybody traveling through here. The hourly forecast has a winter storm starting tomorrow around 10 am and lasting through the night.

And as always, I'll try to give a hand to anyone who needs it if traveling through. I'll likely be on the board periodically during and after the match.

This doesn’t even make sense. If I understand, you have season tickets and your Wyoming tickets are not your Iowa and Michigan tickets???
Correct, I am in the corner 100 level tomorrow, and 50 yard line 200 level for both BJC duals.

Looking at ticketmaster, it looks like the weather is scaring off a good number of folks. Tickets are super duper cheap. Good tickets too. Might look like a hoops game in the BJC today.

All expected starters listed to go on Track just now, highly expecting a blanking with Penn State in the very high 40’s/possibly low 50’s. I’m gonna go with 48-0 if that lineup is true

We may see some guys practicing rather than pinning. I expect a number of techs.

125- #16 Luke Lilledahl vs. John Braman

Period 1:
Here we go! Tying up & hand fighting. Luke snags an ankle, elevates the leg & is working to trip Braman. But, Braman is long & lanky & trying to fight it off. Luke keeps working & gets the TD on the edge, 3-0. Out of bounds, restart, Braman down. Braman to his feet & gets the escape, 3-1. Braman shoots quickly, but Luke fights it off. Luke with a slick duck for another TD, 6-1. Braman gets to his feet, gets hand control & gets the escape, 6-2. Not much resistance by Luke on these escapes. Luke snaps & spins behind for another TD, 9-2. Luke riding on the edge & they go out of bounds, restart. There's no clock on the screen, so I have no idea how much time is left. Braman down, tries to come up, but Luke is working a spiral ride & gets Braman flat on his belly. Braman works to his feet & gets the escape, 9-3. Braman shoots a double, gets in deep, but Luke fights it off & counters for his own TD, 12-3. Luke's working a bar arm & they go out of bounds, restart. Braman down still, gets to his feet, but Luke riding tough & gets him bellied out. Luke rides him out. +1:51 RT

Period 2:
Braman takes down. He works to his feet, but Luke brings him back down & has him bellied out. Luke working an arm bar, takes Braman over, but can't get a count. Luke gets another TD, 15-3. Braman gets an escape, 15-4. Luke back in on a leg, working another TD & gets it. 18-4. Luke was scoring quickly at the end & I missed some action. Luke gets the 20-5 tech. During the 133 match Byers said Luke got 3 points off stall calls, but I missed all those. Whatever the case, Luke worked him hard. It's nice to see the freshman hammering out a tech fall like that!

Luke Lilledahl TECH John Braman 20-5 (4:25)

The clock is back, 1-min left. Davis in on a high single, elevates the leg & pops behind for the TD, 6-1. O'Brien sits out, but Davis brings him back to the mat & he's bellied out now. Period 3:
Davis takes down & is working for the escape. He gets to his feet & throws O'Brien to his back. Davis gets a reversal 14-3 & adds 4 NF, 18-3 & that's a TECH baby!
