Meh, Nick failed to shoot in the match and continues to allow opponents low on his ankles. He has some work to do for next year if he wants to get to the top of the podium. That includes pushing the action a little.
This is akin to Pitt claiming 9 football championships. The NCAA credits Penn State with 6 wrestling team titles prior to this year. That is the official count.
I think you might be correctSo, do we clinch if NaTo fails to WBF?
Feel bad for Nick S. He would be a National Champion. He beat both guys almost by major decision who are wrestling in the finals !!!! We would probably be 20 more points ahead in the team race too....And the Gilman win knocks OKST out of the hunt. 2 team race now...
Ummmm, no - it's because the NCAA didn't start sponsoring the "NCAA National Wrestling Tournament" until 1928 (i.e., the first year of the NCAA Tournament). PSU has won 6, soon to be 7, "NCAA Tournaments". But PSU was considered the consensus National Champion in 1921 and was the only undefeated team in the nation.
IOW, the NCAA only considers PSU to have won 6 "NCAA Tournaments" because that is how many they have won, which is different than how many National Championships they have won.
Nice interview by Gilman. Maybe he isn't 100% evil.
He is going to finish 5 or 6. Does NOT suck. You may not like his style, but he is a 2 time AA.MyMart gets a TD and then Brooks escapes. 2nd ends 5-2.
MyMart completely gassed and gets ridden out in the 3rd (does absolutely nothing and is lucky he didn't get dinged for several more stalling calls). Brooks gets RT point with almost 3 minutes of RT.....final 6-2. Another "stall-fest", only look to counter out of Martin....this guy is going to go 1 and done in terms of Championships the way he wrestles - he sucks, that would be his 11th loss this year!
I think one more non pin ties it, correct? Ties the potential vs ours? One more nonpin.
Forgot the .9!Just 99%.
I'm willing to bet that BoJo isn't pinning Hall so I'm breaking out the party hats and streamers now.Ok so we have to wait for Sorensen-Jordan at 149 before we commence with parade planning.
MJo loses we are champsI'm willing to bet that BoJo isn't pinning Hall so I'm breaking out the party hats and streamers now.
If Micah wins by MD or better, might have to wait until Myles vs Boyd.
It's amazing that all the scenarios we've just posted make me smile!I think it depends on outcome of 149 3rd place
If Sorenson wins, PSU NATIONAL CHAMPS
If Micah wins by MD or better, might have to wait until Myles vs Boyd. My math might be off.

Wonder if Ashnault goes up to 149 next year. Looks too skinny for 141 and needs to add some strength.
Heckuva weight. Kolodzik takes 7th.141
3rd/4th:
Kevin Jack (NC St) pins Bryce Meredith (Wyoming) (was a neutral position fall, with Meredith in the lead)
5th/6th:
Jaydin Eierman (Mizzou) over Anthony Ashnault (Rutgers), 4-2
7th/8th:
Matt Kolodzik (Princeton) over Tommy Thorn (Minny), 3-1
