For someone who doesn't know a lot about wrestling, can someone explain to me what "cut him" means?

It looked to me like he didn't realize he didn't have the major locked up yet. Only after the corner yelled to cut him did he realize it, and by then it was too late. We have just missed a full point or half point more bonus in so many matches. Frustrating.
Yeah. He seemed to shut it down for a period and a half. That should have been a major.

Jordan takes neutral. Jordan with a quick shot, in on a low single, goes to a double, but Jason is sprawled out, and Nolf comes out with a single, elevates, and gets the TD, 12-0. OOB with 1:16. Jordan to his feet, taken back down. Jason with a power half and close to getting swipes, and he gets 4 NF for a TF with 32 sec left in the 2nd period!!!!!!!!!!!!

That was the most impressive performance Nolf has ever had...because even though I am not supposed to mention it..he is not near 100% in my opinion. Damn he is good and fun to watch!!!!
