Not really sure where to put this, but I was going through old PIAA brackets and noticed that Q and Ed faced off in the semis of AAA states in 2008. Q won 10-8 in what was by far his closest match —his next closest match was a 10-1 MD— en route to a state title. Then they both ended up at PSU and were teammates all the way through. Either one could’ve decided early on to move on to headline at another program, but never did. One thing’s for sure, they were beating Nico in the room lol

My late spouse had an acquaintance that got herself into a 10 year bind and rode a plane with Gotti to federal prison. He was pretty subdued on that plane ride. She had a domestic dispute that got ugly and did something really stupid to get a stint in federal prison.

I think a lot of you forget what it was like to be a broke 20 year old. Like most of you, I don't know Nagao's situation, but at 20, I would have done damn near anything for a quarter of a million dollars. From his interview, he seems to be much more mature than I was at that age, but let's not forget that we are still talking about kids and a lot of money.
