I think people are ignoring Tariq Wilson. To me he could get the 2 or 3 seed, with Lee getting the other. Rivera at 4. Eierman may have won the battle, but hurt himself in the war if he has to see Rivera Friday night.

His 1st period ride is never gonna get called there. That was a dominant ride and whether you like it or not, thats not gonna get called.
What second takedown? He only got one and that was off of a counter. He initiated ZERO offense on his own.

The stalling Eierman displayed doesnt help the sport. And it's not only Eierman but the Iowa team other than Lee
Your right there are exceptions to the rule just not many. That mentality of just hanging on to win without wrestling is why I'm glad we have Cael in the room and not someone like brands.
In my opinion, Iowa's ability to ride (plus Spencer Lee) is what is winning this tournament for them.

Nick is not going to win if the joke Ref at NCAAs doesn't require JE to wrestle and call him for stalling if he doesn't under the fundamental rules of wrestling! Anyone who calls that horseshit "great wrestling" knows dog-shit about the sport.

Until the Refs decide to aggressively call stalling, there will always be “defensive” wrestlers like Jesse Delgado, Dean Heil and Eierman who will find a way to win without taking a single shot.

This looks a lot like hr right now, blaming the refs for stalling, calling the wrestlers “dumb” and “bums”. We’re better than that. Tip of the hat to the riddler. I seen adjustments Nick can make, and I think that was the perfect game plan for Jaydin. I like Nick in 2 weeks.

Well, we have had 3 out of 4 great offensive matches with shots from both sides. We've had one that had an opponent not take a single shot in 3 periods. I'm not a big fan of freestyle, but that dog don't hunt in freestyle. It shouldn't in folk, either.

Well if that proves true, I am happy Nick lost. I think SeaBass takes out Eireman, and Nick will still have all the can handle with Rivera the second time, but better after a grueling Semi.
Nick will get #2 and I think Wilson gets #3. Nick was held down for almost 2 min in the first and still had more gas at the end than Eierman.

Was it just me or did I not see 3-4 head butts right into Berge earlier today. Pretty shitty given his history. I thought the ref would step in but nothing.
No doubt Brady had some heavy head contact at the end of the last match.
