1 RBY vs 32 D LaJoie (Cornell)

RBY quick too on a go-behind after a DJ shot. Escape DJ. 2-1. DI the bigger wrestler. Sweet upper body set up to a single leg TD. 4-1. Lets him up. 4-2. 1:40 to go. DJ with a front headlock that RBY turns into a dump. Long scramble. RBY wins scramble. 6-2. Almost back points with it. Working on top now. 6-2 after one. 1:25 RT.

RBY chooses bottom. To his feet. Returned. Again. 3rd time is the charm as he turns in and gets reversal. 8-2. Working on top again. Stalling on DJ. 9-2. I must have missed an earlier stall call. 9-2 after two. 2:31 RT.

DJ takes neutral. Double under hooks DJ. RBY kinda tries a throw and ends up with a double leg TD. 11-2. Cuts him. 11-3. Ankle pick but no finish for RBY. Table may have been a factor. RBY counter and a TD. 13-3. Cuts him on restart. 13-4. Slick TD. 15-4. 16-4 is the final with RT.

Not much action through 1:40. Some Handfighting. CR takes first real shot; easily stuffed by BB. BB trying to work a Russian tie. CR deep shot. Scramble. Potentially dangerous as BB gained upper hand. 0-0 after one.

BB takes bottom. To his feet but returned. To his feet again; can’t clear leg. Car in single leg TD position. Stalemate. BB to his feet…, not clearing leg. Standing toll. Scramble. Stalemate. 1:04 to go. No first move this time. To his feet but CR takes ankle every time. Running out of time. Finally out after 1:40. 1-0 BB.

CR takes bottom. Needs a significant ride to negate RT. CR out with 1:15 of RT in bank. 1-1. BB will need a TD. CR shoots and finishes. 3-1 CR. 1:03 to go. Stalling on CR. 0:45 to go. 3-2 now. I must have missed an earlier call. BB out with 25 to go. Gets TD!!!!!! Wins 5-4!!!’
