Did Lewis make a mistake there by not choosing neutral when he had choice in the second ride out period? Do I understand these new rules correctly (which I think need fixing BTW), that with the riding time advantage all he had to do was not give up the takedown and win with 8 seconds (or whatever it was) of riding time?
Carter escaped so he would lose by a point without a takedown. Choosing neutral works if you ride out your opponent (don't allow an escape) after they choose bottom.

Yeah, it's been said several times before, but you'd have to think that our rivals' coaches, fans and wrestlers are NOT enjoying the interviews of our 5 champs. Reminds me when Nolf, Cenzo and crew kept walking up to the mic and talking about how much fun PSU wrestlers have. Just a stellar, stellar night and a nearly perfect tournament for our 5 or 6 studs.

There's a lot of talent in college wrestling, and obviously we have more than our share. That said the biggest difference between Penn State and everybody else, is that when it matters most our guys all wrestle to win. Our opponents wrestle to avoid getting beat. Belief in your coaches combined with belief in oneself is a formidable combo.

There was a dude that said he wouldn't be surprised if we went 0-6 in the semis yesterday. 😆 🤣

This program is so freaking special. I love it!!!! So grateful 🙏
To be fair, I think he was just trying to underline how tough the semis were. I believe he also said he didn't believe it would be 0-6 but quite frankly, I've had a couple of Richard Yuenglings magic tonic water so I'm an unreliable narrator.

So what’s the final point count? If it’s 131.5, then Ozarklion won the pick’em contest. But if Dean lost a team point for his head gear spike, then KidDagger won it.
