149-Tough match but I think Zain comes out on fire
157-Nolf over Kemerer. Kemerer looking slow wonder if his knee being dinged up. Could be a maj. tOSU is wrestling for 9th
165-Burcher gets 8th, Cenzo gets 3/4
174-Toss up but you guys need it
184-Going to be a close one but I like Sammy. Gotta think Bo takes third although Jackson has given him trouble.
197-I like Studebaker for 3rd...Moore vs PFarr is going to be a good one
HWY-Snyder wins it but Nevills take third

You guys have a lot of stud hosses in the wrestle backs...that alone makes up the point difference to the finals. Just going to have to hope for some luck and win all three.

Down 18.5 right now, pretty realistic chance to be almost even going into the final matches -- OSU has Rodriguez and Burcher in 7/8 matches (1 pt) and Pletcher in 6/3 (3 pt), PSU has Gulibon in 7/8 (1 pt) and Joseph, Nickel, McCutcheon & Nevills in 6/3 (3 pts.) If favorites win, OSU gets 4 points + no bonus likely, PSU gets 13 points plus likely 4+ bonus.

If that occurs, down 5-6 going into last 7 matches -- OSU with 6 finalists (4 pos matches) + 1 consolation (1 pt), PSU 3 & 4. Need Zain & Hall to win the 2 head to heads -- Nolf to win and the consolation guys to take 3rd.

Nightmare scenario is Brooks wins and Brooks and Martin get the 2/3

He split with Nickal and has several more losses. Leapfrogging Nickal won't happen if Nickal beats Jackson. Martin may get stuck at 4 and have to deal with the Destroyer of Worlds.

Results can really get turned around from BigTens to NCAAs. They won't be starting out with 6 byes either. It will be a dog fight but I haven't seen anything today that leads me to believe Penn State is all of sudden not one of the main contenders for the title.

Well, tonight was tough. We're definitely going to need our guys to come out firing in the wrestlebacks. Need lots of 3rd's, and lots of bonus. Unfortunately, because we are not in a position to control our own destiny, I'll be rooting for some unsavory characters (hawkeyes, goofers, badgers) to take out some buckeyes. We've got to win our head to head finals vs tOSU. It's not impossible to win tomorrow, but we'll need to be better than we were tonight. WE ARE!

I've always thought he had nothing to gain personally by jumping into the deep end of a very tough schedule. And no one saw Suriano getting hurt or Bo losing. Today was a perfect storm what will matter now is how we show up Sunday. We can show some real character and start our run to an NCAA title tomorrow morning.

We haven't had a bad day this entire season so I'm just happy that our bad day was in the Big Tens instead of the NCAA's. Don't fret. We will be back regardless of what the team score is for this tournament. We WILL win NCAAs. Everybody has an off day and this was ours.
