Yeah turned it on only to watch VV in another one of his thrillers. Literally put me to sleep. Woke up to watch Kennedy get worked over by the guy Carter just techd last week. Then I dozed off again watching Iowa JV team from 184-HWT

This Iowa team is the most boring And least offensive Iowa team in as long as I can remember. They stink
I saw something from one of those nitwits comparing vv with cstar and scoring minimal points. Lmfao. Never a dull moment from those dueshebag with tinfoil hats eatitturk

CKLV Schedule Saturday, December 2

1:00 pm EST - Round 8 Championship Semi-Finals, Round 9 Consolation Semi Finals, Consolation Finals 5th & 6th, 7th & 8th Places

6:00 pm EST - CHAMPIONSHIP FINALS 1st & 2nd, 3rd & 4th Places

Down goes Shapiro again, this time 2-1 to Trevor Chumbawumba of Northwestern. Maaaaaybe let’s pump the brakes just a little bit.
And Chumbley lost first round 8-2 to Downey from Northern Iowa. Really shows how different free and folk results can be. Shapiro teched Cardenas this summer in freestyle

Bouzakis is absolutely terrible on bottom. AN is going to torture that kid.
Which only makes him like the vast majority of true freshmen. He figures to get much better, but for today the top-ranked kid in his HS weight class got ridden for 3:45 and majored by an unseeded freshman who I doubt most people had ever heard too much about. Once more, we see how large is the step up in class from HS to major college. In fairness, Bouzakis later beat some other kids in the wrestlebacks pretty decisively, but a guess would be that he won't fare quite as well against other B1G No. 1's.

Bouzakis isn’t a true freshman though. He had a full year in tOSU room and still is horrible on bottom.

Not one of Blaze, Shapiro, or Chittum placed. The hotshot freshmen at 157 look like they might need a bit more time. I’m sure they will get there but it just goes to show how tough college wrestling is

The "it's an adjustment for freshman" kind of goes away when Bouzakis is the redshirt freshman who has had a year to work under Stieber and Mendez and the kid who rode him like a pony is the true freshman (ranked 37 in 2023) who just got to college.

That's a sign bottom issues might end up being chronic.

It also makes him like the vast majority of Ohio State wrestlers.

ISU leads the team race (88.5 points), followed by OSU (86), Neb. (82.5), Corn (73), NCS (72), OrSt (69), Mich (67.5), and Stan (65).

ISU, Neb, and Mich each have 4 in the semifinals. OSU, Corn, NCS, and Stan have 3.

Shapiro gassing so badly doesn’t really bode well for his tournament chances unless he can improve that over the season, but I still think he’ll end up as a top 5 in the weight class though dual match results before the tournament season starts.

Bouzakis & Paddy are showing that it’s more than just recruiting when it comes to Penn State’s success. Obviously, you’re not going to be a champion without elite recruits, but you’re not going to be a champion without the correct training and coaching and environment, either.

Ohio State recruits just below Cael if you look at numbers of elite (top 10ish PfP) commits - and far better than Iowa, but the results to both teams aren’t even close.

I think Ryan may be just like Mack Brown in his later Texas days. Mack would be recruiting champion almost every year, but it’s clear he just relied on the high school rankings lists (mostly Texas based) to pluck guys without doing real due diligence about their motivation to improve, their fit, how their style translated to college, etc.

A lot of the Ohio State guys look like specimens but are very stiff and not imaginative. Can you imagine what our crew could have done with Myles Martin? That kid had all the tools but was lost at sea when the scrambling started. Both Max Dean and Nickal gave him a master class in scrambling
